What about Nicole? I'am talking about a hardcore fans here who can die for the Roman Flag, Unlike Nicole who supports 2teams.
This would actually make more Nicole more inclined to see both sides of the arguement.

How do you know that the Roma fans think DP is technically better?

I doubt they will agree with this, especially as Totti is their idol.

What do I base my evidence for this on? DP is your idol, and you would probably argue he is a better finisher than Trez, a better goalie than Buffon, a better driver than Schumacher, and a better fvck than ...... Pamela Anderson (I just used a famous person everyone would know;)).

So if you aren't prepared to see weakness in DP, why do you assume the Roma fans will behave differently towards Totti?

Personally, I don't like Totti at all....but technically he is better than DP. In terms of footballing ability, he is better in every way.
Well I got many Italian friends here, some of them Support Roma aswell...

About what you just said, I don't know If I have to laugh or whatever, but in the last part saying Totti is better technically than Del Piero is rubbish, not that I don't accept it, But Why don't we share some Del Piero's and Totti's goals and some Tech and some dribb and you'll decide...what do you think?? Because I guess you haven't seen alot of Del Piero after reading your last part.

Well aren't we talking about this DP
My bad 2years ago, 03-04 he wasn't mentioned. I guess this year he should make it after his 16goals and Important assist in the most important game this season , not to mention how many times he saved Juve...He's Officially the MVP.

Call me whatever you want, But I don't recall Totti doing a Classic Dribbling, Though I admit he's Class in Assisting and Freekicking but as Technic he's not even near to Zalayeta's tech..

Bah this is unbelievable. I don't like Totti but to deny he has better skills than DP is incredible, not even worth discussing.
DP is OBVIOUSLY more technically skilled than Totti. Though Totti overall is a better player. Anyway, Totti's career is over now. He signed for Roma, who won't win anything the next five years and Totti's simply too much of an ass to star for the azzurri.

Let's try that again. Most people agree that DP is more technically gifted than Totti. Most people also agree that Cassano is more technically gifted than Totti.

There, ambiguity exterminated. [/QUOTE

It is obvious as well actually. Totti no doubt is gifted technically, but DP's ball control is a hell of a lot better. DP's ball control probably still is the best in the world. Doesn't necessarily mean he's a hell of a player though.

I have seen DP throughout his whole career, he is technically excellent.

Totti is better though.

Believe me it is not the case that DP is my idol here, but I really believes tha DP is way ahead of Totti in "technically gifted" term...
Personally I don't rate Totti among the players with magical technique skills like Zidane and Ronaldinho...
Totti got a nice touch of the ball, great control, vision, amaizing shooting, free kicks and a very good technique skills only very good not magical..
Ya don't see Totti produces amaizing skills with the ball too often like Ronaldinho for example...
While ya can review DP's carrer and see how many unique goals, dribbles and moves he made to figure what kind of football jenious he is...

:wth:

Your trying to compared one of the greatest players of all time, to Zalayeta? The player Juve are fighting tooth and nail to keep...

This whole thread should be published as a joke book.

I didn't compare him to Zala, I said Zala is better when it comes to Tech...

Actually It's Totti who should be published as the JOKE.

You are really proud of your captain eh?

Clear as the sun? Lippi never said that was the reason and DP was disappointed for not being called-up.

As if a tour would go in between a player and his national team.
