This is crazy, Totti pisses all over DP and Cassano in terms of technicality.
First of all, it has nothing to do with how technically skilled they are, it's about how technically gifted they are. Secondly, I can't say I see Cassano in any way inferior to Totti in that regard.

Martin - Cassano still needs to develop further than he might reach Totti's level one day.

DPFL - Totti is almost consistently good every season and carries the whole team on his shoulders, bar this year obviously.

You can't really say that DP has been better over the years than Totti who has shown more magical moments that DP did. DP just happens to have won more on terms of team trophies.

Plz give me a break,
I know that DP lacks consistencey in most parts of his carrer but doubting his magical touch of the ball is totally out of logic, Totti beats DP in many sections of the game, but surely not in the "Technically gifted" issue...

many papers even said that when del piero is on form it is like watching baggio play, to me i think del piero kicks the shit out of totti and to state that totti carries the team is pure bullshit, he has no leadership skills watso ever, when at roma it was emerson who lead the team and when he leaves they come in like what 12th

Zizou, Seriously Since when Totti has become more technicality better than Del Piero?

and btw Dp's 02-03 was better than Totti and This year he was also better than Totti, not to mention he scored more goals and performing excellent in the big match, unlike totti who was banned for 5matches when his team almost got relegated....

Saying Del Piero is overrated, that he should leave Juve, that he's inconsistent and so on is subjective and relative.

But no one in any way can deny how he beats Totti when it comes to having natural gift and talent. That's just biased! The goals are there, go see them. The moments of sheer brilliance and magic are there, go see them. And I'm not only speaking of the pre-98 Del Piero, that Del Piero was among the best 2 or 3 players in the world.... it's somehow non-negiotable.

But even if after the injury, sometimes....SOMETIMES his performances were not as good as we ask of him, and that was mainly due to injuries... his class and talent were always there to see. It's actually because of his talent that people pick on him that much, because it's obvious he can do stuff with the ball many others can only dream of, and even when they do, their dreams are short-lasting :)

Totti was close to being 24 when he showed he had some good things about him to the world, and even then they weren't that special. His best season came last year when he was 27-28 and even then he failed to show up in big games and in Europe and failed in achieving anything, he then topped it off with a miserable performance in Euro 2004 and a horrible display of manners and professionalism.

Now compare that to Del Piero who at the age of 20 was able to replace a legend called Roberto Baggio...he scored goals in the Champions League so early in his career..that Thierry Henry, Ronaldo, and Shevschenko put together haven't come close to (Rangers, Monaco, Dortmund).... He then had a phenomenal season in 98 not only in the league but in the Champions League too....

In 2002, 2003, and this season, Del Piero has had better seasons than Totti. Up until 1999, Del Piero's always had better seasons than that clown. So I don't see how Totti has the advantage. Totti's not even the most gifted in his own club....Cassano has that honour.

Zizou dude, please think a little before throwing out crap like that. It only makes you look stupid.
