I became a Juventus fan back in 95-96~ somewhere. Or let's just say it was when they won the CL. I was about 10 years old back then and if I had to pick a team to cheer for, it should of course be the best one (the CL winners). :D

I cheered about equally much for Arsenal and Juventus until 99~ when Juventus were knocked out by Manchester Utd in the semifinals. I cried like a little baby, all the way home from watching the game at a friends house. I had to hide in the woods and wipe my tears for a while so that mom couldn't notice I had been crying.
That was how I discovered there was only room for one club in my heart, and Juventus became that team.

I hated football at the start, until I started playing it and realised it had a certain appeal and got me out of some hateful classes.;) I was shite though but they picked me because they thought I'd be useful for headers with my height, though I never went for headers, didn't want to fvck up my hair. Kicked me off the team for backing out of one on ones with some intellectually retarded goalkeeper who just didn't realise it really wasn't worth that kind of collision.

But then you get better, because most people are crap and remain crap so with a little effort I became one of the good players. Still avoiding challenges of course'.

Then I came back to Liverpool and realised it was a different league altogether. 10 year old kids here could run rings around me.

So I quit and became an alcoholic :yay:

It's a sad story really but i still put away 13 goals that season, they should have honoured me.

I'm German, I love BMW's, which are made in Munich, and I asked Andrew Beck in 99 or 2000 what the best team in Munich was, said Bayern.

That easy.

But, I always loved soccer because I didn't know about it, it was like a phantom sport. It went against everything American culture teaches you, football - hands, basketball - hands, baseball - hands.

I just loved something that was so unique from anything I knew.
