This thread is about how to play football…

We can all agree on that the main thing is to win titles. But than we have the “life” of football. The moments when you´re sitting with a big smile all over you’re face and with small goose bumps on you’re forearms. The moments you can talk about over and over again.

DP when he made an bicycle to Trez against Milan or Zlatans goal against Benfica just the other week…

So what is my issue?
Liverpool won the CL. Did anyone enjoy it except the Liverpool fans? No way!
Barcelona at their best is like candy for you’re eyes. As Chelsea when Robben just dominates his leftwing. Last season we won Serie A, and trust me when I write that I celebrated that victory for weeks! But we (Juve) did not play as beautiful as I would have hoped.

So my question is: How is Juve going to be able to play that kind of football this season?
What formation?
Witch changes in the tactical game?
Or do you already think we’re plying that kind of game today?

juventus will bore the opponent into submission.and that is how we'll win most of our matches.injuries to key players while make capello even more defensive in his tactics.

It's not like Juventus always plays horrible, although Capello's tactics are indeed very defensive we played good football in some matches last year. And don't forget the 3-1 match against Real Madrid in 2003, better football has rarely been played.

I'm surprised you mentioned Chelsea. Barcelona indeed plays great offensive football, but Chelsea plays horrible. Robben only runs and dribbles, he never does anything else. He's predictable as hell.

I don’t like Chelsea at all, but they have a well balanced team.
With good wings (duff, robben) and a strong center midfield (makondele, lampard)

If they play with drogba on top he forces the defense to stay near their goal witch opens up an area between defense and midfield.

With gudjonsen they uses the wings much more and naturally as he always (nearby) collect ball, gudjonsen that is, it grows the gap between goalie and defense. And Chelsea uses this a lot.

On the other hand I do agree that they don’t play very amusing football, but Robben is nice to see at his best.

He scored 2 goals yesterday against germany…
