I was just saying if that Russian guy took over Lazio we could buy any player we want and become the italian real madrid.

However, I am more than happy as it is right now.

I think Lazio have the best team. Even better than Juve:eek:

If we get Mutu it will be great.

Mutu - Del Piero
Trez/Di Viao - Corradi, Lopez (might actualy stay)
Nedved - okay, that's a problem but if Lazio get Jorgensen and Pizzaro
Davids - Simeonoe, Gianncheddia
Thuram - Oddo, no competition however
Legro - Stam
Buffon - Peruzzi, Peruzzi is still great
True, but as a man I would feel sad if my team Juve, was acquired by a unknown wealthy man who only bought the club to enhance his reputation. I heard he was going to privatize the club which essentially make Chelsea his toy, rather than legitimate FC. Beside, your team Lazio has proved in the past, buying best players doesn't lead to CL honors.;). Remember so called dream team of Nesta, Pancaro, Peruzzi, Crespo, Lopez, Stankovic, Veron, Nedved, Couto, only to end in annus horriblus.;).

Though I would be happy to disagree that Lazio is the best team in Italia,:D, your team do have legitimate chance of winning Lo Scuddeto next year. Especially if you manage to pull of Pizzaro, Jorgensen and Alberto deal. And as always I wish best of luck to other Italian teams in CL until we meet you.

Makes sense. In which case you'll be thankful that he didn't buy Lazio, Kiran.

225 million euros is like a tip from this guy .. he's so outrageously rich that this sum only makes up around 5% of his total wealth .. he says he bought Chelsea to be owner of the club as a hobby ..

Rumours say that he offered 3 million euros to Zola and 1.5 million euros to Cagliari so that he gets back Zola to Chelsea .. but Zola refused the offer ..

I love this, it's great. I hope that Chelsea buy all the good players that exist and rule the EPL...I'd love it.

It has only been 5 days since this russian dude took over at stamford bridge, and here in england they have been linked with a hell of a lot of players.

1st there manager is not safe chelsea want cappelo.

Zola - zola left chelsea last week after failing to agree terms for a new contract. since the russian dude took over they have offered the cagliari £1 million to sign him back.

Rooney - believe me Rooney is going to be a star, chelsea have offered £30 million to everton, according to the sunday star

Kluivert - £2million small change for chelsea now and could easy afford his wages.

Davids - £10 million, out of contract next summer chelsea want him

Vieri - £25 million they are desperate for a striker and they want this great player.

Nesta - they have already offered £35 million for nesta which was turned down.

Ronaldinho - £18 million they have got the cash to out bid man utd and real madrid

This is very worrying, because Liverpool play Chelsea on the 1st day of the new season.

all of the above I have read in various news papers since thursday

one thing about this guy i hate is that he only looks at the famous players, just like Real, and no youngsters with potential, like how Ajax or Juve does..it's like he has hardly a clue about football, and only knows the big stars...

and one thing is for sure, if he gets a bunch of stars, the last person able to keep them running as a team would be ranieri

    Rooney worth £3 million?

the lad is going to be a star, I hate to admit it cause hes a blue but, he will be a great player no doubt. Being from just outside Liverpool, he is sombody whos name has been popping up in local news papers for years, Liverpool people know there football and he is somthing else. I do agree £30 million is crazy but so is this Russian fella.

This is going to be bad for Chelsea because their new owner will get players that he personally likes and not the ones that fits with Ranieri's tactics or formations .. Moratti was doing the exact same thing with Inter .. he bought players that he wanted and never gave a thought about his coach's recommendations .. and that's why Inter failed so miserably in the past seasons .. the coach wasn't able to work with the players and had to play most of them out of their natural positions in order to adapt to his favoured formations .. but now Moratti recognized his mistake and will seemingly get most - if not all - players in Cuper's wishlist ..

But it would be interesting to test Arsenal's resolve after the latest offer of £50 million to get Henry .. that same amount was offered to Milan to get Nesta but they rejected it .. and I think Arsenal will do the same and resist the temptation ..

I know .. but there are certain players that make the core of the team and if you sell them then you will be in trouble and will take a risk in that the new players might not turn out to be like you wanted/expected ..

Anyway, Milan turned that offer down for Nesta and Arsenal turned it down too for Henry ..
