Have you tried to cut down on your sugar intake? Including certain dairy products. Also it might seem a bit gay but have a cup of green tea everyday, it cleanses the body & also increases the metabolism.
the only dairy i take is some milk(semi skimmed) natural yoghurt in my smoothie and occasional cheese.

in all honesty i AM losing weight and building muscle but i just wish the gains were faster

What's gay about drinking green tea? I drink a cup of green tea almost every day.
green tea is the shizzle,so is a nice cup of Chai

but i have to say i like both with a little lemon and/or honey

I like my Chai with milk and some honey, never tried it with lemon. As for green tea, I usually get them flavoured so there is no need to add lemon to that. And one more thing about Chai, it is the best beverage with herbs in a stick, you know what I mean.

will certainly experiment with that

though i have to ask how you manage to run marathons and still partake of JAH's gift

JAH's power is with me when I run. Seriously though, I don't know. I think I will get better results if I lay down the herb, something I am willing to experiment very soon.

It seems you are on the right track, keep it up. We might meet in Amsterdam Marathon in a couple of years.

As for the HIIT, half an hour is enough if done properly, the sessions are extremely intense.

Do you have a running clock?
Sorry for the late reply m8,

Would be cool, not sure if i can manage to run the whole marathon tho :D

We got a running clock app on our iphone which keeps all the stats for us if that's what you mean :)

Yeah thank god for muscle memory though.:D

Did you lose a bit of weight during that break, Anth?

My only saving grace for not picking up weight was because i decided to divide my meals into six for the day.Only two big meals, the rest light snacks.

Breakfast being the biggest & dinner being slightly smaller than breakfast. Also i made a real effort to push on protein rich foods.
I lost around 8 kgs it sucked big time. I've just decided I can't be bother being big anymore, its too much time and effort.

Being big is much harder than being athletic as it turns out. But most girls say they prefer the athletic look, so why not go for that instead?

Started that schedule two weeks ago and I’m really comfortable with it.

As for nutrition, I have a light breakfast. Lunch, I eat what I want (Not fast food of course). I don’t have dinner.

I guess if I’m following that schedule, I’ll see real improvement in 2-3 months.

Yes, iPhone/Android apps work as well and that's sort of what I meant. I started with the phone then got a Garmin.

As for the marathon, it takes some time, I can't finish a marathon myself now...I think I can't but maybe in a year I would. Longest I have run was 30 km and it was really tough.

That's messed up.

I hope you're not ditching it completely? Would be a shame for you to put all those long hard working hours to waste.
tell me about it! I hit my peak right before the fasting month. Then boooom I lose my gains and start over. This year I sorta recovered faster. Its been like what, a month, and I can see that I am gaining my weight back. Less fat more muscle this time.

So this thread is pretty much dead, huh?

I have question for you guys. Since I train Jiu-jitsu on tuesday, thursday and saturday, I can only go to gym on other days. So I decided to train weights on mon,wed and fri and I need training that can fit those days.

So far I've decided to train chest and back on monday (OVT style), and than maybe legs and triceps on wednesday and shoulders biceps on friday. Does anyone have suggestion to maybe change something?
