Guys, the right side end of my right foot is incredibly numb and swollen. There's no pain involved, but it feels extremely weird. I hit my foot against a goal post playing soccer a few days ago, so I don't know if that has something to do with it. Some sort of simple bruise?

get yourself to the hospital mate could be compartment syndrome, where you have hit yourself so hard and it swells real bad and can cut off the circulation

better get it checked out

Isn't that mostly seen in the calves though? And I thought athletes were more susceptible to it, because of the overuse factor.

 way to blow my spider bite theory out of the water. But if it was a radioactive spider :shifty:

The general consensus is though, that if your limbs start going numb. Its not good.

I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow.

There's still no pain, so I really doubt it's compartment syndrome. To explain the problem a little more accurately, from my pinky toe along the outer side of my foot almost up to below the ankle, it's a little swollen and numb. This is just on the side and directly behind the pinky toe, not behind my other toes. There seems to be a little part of the bone sticking out right in the middle of the side of my foot. It's little more pronounced than it is on the opposite foot.

Might have something to do with the 5th metatarsal or cuboid; I see the 5th met sticks out a bit.

No pain and I can still jog, so at least that's good.

Don't take any supplements untill you know what your taking, and judging from your last sentence that is certainly not yet, so stay away

I take it your young, so the abundant range of protein shakes wouldn't be neccessary, if i were you i'd stick to the eggs, chicken, tuna and light milk. Plus, you won't be able to afford the $150 montly buckets.. Ofcourse, when people told me this when i was 15-16 the first thing i done was go out and get the biggest bucket of protein i could

I haven't been to the gym in near a month now. I hate coming back from long breaks like this, it always takes a week or two to get back into the regular training schedule. I'll also take a one months vacation soon so it's even worse.

to be honest, its not like taking protein supplements will do you any harm. But as Gazzo says, its fairly pointless unless you are getting a bit serious and your ultimate priority needs to be setting up a good diet for yourself which is imperative and more important then any supplement.
P.S you could probably start doing a bit heavier weight SOON. Maybe not yet, but I started weights at 16 and started trying to build up my body with heavy weight at about 17.

Yeah man long time no speak haven't seen you round these parts much. Same for Il Re. I'm all on my lonesome here.
To be honest I'm pretty much in your boat as of the last week (been very busy being a social butterfly etc.) but I've been doing a lot of cutting and cardio taking a weight loss supplement and eating fuck all carbohydrates while I'm not doing weights. I should be back on it tomorrow though.
I walked into my gym to say hello to some people and the thing a lot of people are doing right now is 5x5 workouts (5 sets of 5 reps) its turned into a massive fad. I really don't like the idea of it to be honest. Its more of a strength builder, I mean if 8 to 10 reps is the prime amount of reps for muscle building then why fuck with it? I'd only do it as a plateau buster and that would be a last option for me.

what weight loss supplement did you take?

I took Animal cuts and it was great. None of the jittery feeling associated with fat tburners, and it really helped me. It drians you of water though and you'll be constantly pissing so you have to drink lots of water.

I'm taking Nutrex Lipo 6x now and it is good too.
