I'm the gym's best customer. I've never missed a fortnightly payment, I don't use any of the facilities, I've never made a complaint, I just pay the fees and never attend LOL.

I really need to get myself back to the gym 3 times a week...
start working out you lazy fuck.

you don't need to spend hours. 45 mins to hour is more than enough for most beginners. 3 days a week. thats it. listen a nice podcast while you workout, or book, or learn langauge and you are now multitasking.

Did ppl a few years back while I was unemployed and had time to go 6 days a week, I think that probably brought me to my physical prime from then until I was hit by a car. I cannot recommend that split enough if you have the time for it.

Do you have ABS exercises in your routine workout plan? I see some doing ABS to develop a muscle to actually make it visible. Some exercises like Dragon Flag, Crunches and etc.

Yeah dude, we've all got abs that are the perfect shape. Core exercises will make your core stronger but the way to make them visible is through calorie deficit.

"Abs are made in the kitchen"
We don't automatically have visible abs. If someone is skinny then just has less fat, the only thing left to do is work the muscles out.

Yeah but in general people nowadays have to much body fat for abs to be visible

- Find out how much calories you need
- Figure out how much you actually consume (that’s the difficult part)
- Make sure you’re in a deficit
- Give your body some time to actually lose the weight
- Go for long walks or do some jogging/tennis/football whatever
- And train abs (but if you train your body there’s no reason why you should ignore abs anyway right)

Going through some nasty shit in private life and managed to get shingles, apparently related to psychological shit. It’s been a double blow, because gym was my go to solution for keeping my head clear and now I feel like I’m fucked.
Oh shit! Sorry to hear about that. Hopefully it's not on your face. Hang in there man and in 3-5 weeks time they should be gone. Maybe switch to taking walks in nature to keep fit. Avoid hot showers & get an antiviral medicine. Stay strong!
