I didn't want to sound like smartass but bringing Coleman into discussion is plain silly. The guy is obviously on steroids like every pro bodybuilder and it's silly to compare him to any regular guy. Also Coleman is not always at 4% of body fat, it would be almost impossible to stay at that level for whole year IMO. Those % are probably before competitions he takes.

I have a friend who turned pro, he was huge but fatty, now he is lean as hell, he's on roids too. Roids are great for pro's, they help you burn fat and build muscle, however I don't support guys taking them just to get bigger with no real goals. In other words, only pro's should take them at some level.

Also to make myself clear, I've never said I'm pro bulking or anti bulking guy, what I tried to say is that Dule's logic have some faults, or simply I don't agree with him on many things. My point is that gaining some fat while you're gaining muscles is not that bad, like Dule presents, and I'm 100% sure that you can gain more than 2kg's of lean muscle per year.
Coleman obviously takes steroids don't know if he takes any serious cutters. I grew up working out with a Mr. Australia as well however (a natural body builder), and he too understand that he doesn't need to bulk. There is nothing terrible about it but if you want to stay ripped then bulking is going to be detrimental to that cause.

You can gain well over 2kgs of lean muscle in one year. I gained 6kgs of muscle in 2009 and simultaneously got down to 8%. If you work hard and smart enough its very possible. Most importantly, over the course of a years worth of hard training you need to take a week or two rest here and there to assure you don't injure, burn out or plateau.

It works everything except the back AFAK.

The squat does your core a little teeny bit but really goes to town on your legs, while the press depending on your grip can do arms and back or arms, back and some pecs with also a litte core from the stabilisation.

It's a beast of an excercise IMO

If you don't look this ridiculous doing it, you've gone wrong somewhere.

So recently i've been getting this weird ass pain in my forearm when lifting, it's particularly painful when doing biceps and chest, anyone ever experienced it?

Page 197 might help you :p
That's the same issue. I've been using the Ezy bar and it got a little bit more comfortable but the pain's still there, it's a royal pain in the ass when i loosen my grip too.

I've been working around it for a couple months now because I don't want to do a break but I might to lower the weights for a couple weeks and see how it develops.

It sure is the same thing.

Try to skip barbell and ezy bar as well, do biceps with dumbbells and pain should vanish in 1-2 week. Focus on negatives, and you can add pull ups till failure for biceps. Give your forearm some rest. It's very annoying, though.

Thanks, will try it.

So i'm guessing you don't have the pain anymore?

I don't ;)

I skipped barbell and then I took 12 days break since I wanted to take some rest after 2-3 months of active workouts plus I had exams. Now I'm back and my pain seems gone.

And now since I'm back, I'm trying out 3-day split routine, to see if it's any good.

Eh, so in the end I might need to take at least a week off. Haven't tried out a 3 day split myself yet but be sure to tell me how it works for you, i might need to adapt to it when Uni starts again in 2 weeks.

Yeah sure, I'll post some opinion or PM you after I get to see it, I started just yesterday. It will be good since it's summer now, too freaking hot so I think that's the best thing for me right now.

Ok, IZ... :D

As far as I know, I'll be doing my gym sessions starting at evening...
So, what should I eat after the training as it'll be late to eat and then sleep?!

Is Protein shake a good solution?

Thanks guys, but the point is after you train muscles they need protein!!!
What I am saying is if I have a normal meal after the workout, I won't ba able to sleep until after 3 hours which I can't because I have to get up so early for work!
So, that why I mentioned the Protein shakes!
