I actually feel sorry for Higgy, he doesn't want out but it's now or never. Imo he needs to try EPL, that Nipples style of football would probably suit him and it suits his career. So with a heavy heart I say go Higgy go run for your dreams.

Love him, but being objective here and seeing that we are indeed stacked now in attack; selling him is the right thing to do. We need the money, as this squad is not yet complete.

I'll miss him!

Obviously is the right thing to do to sell him.

Sadly he came to a juve with a disfunctioning midfield which was not able to support him, and his game suffered too much. He needed to track back way too much and had few service.

On higuains part, he seemed to be on decline and was not decisive enough when we needed him the most.

On top of all that we have cr7 who will most likely play striker now.
Chelsea and sarri will bring the best out of him for sure.

Even though a rate this guy highly ,He did not produce when it mattered the most(read Champions leauge). So,He has not justified his huge transfer fee in my opinion . He doesn't have the mentality or balls to be a decisive factor in key matches .His decline is also very visible ,it would get only worse .
I wish him all the best ,but it is for the best that He leaves now .

My problem with second season Higuain is apart from the occasional moments, he just flat out sucked with his general play and for a guy who does everything inside the box, he looked like he could barely position himself properly for crosses. Ruined attacks, looked too slow to shoot and all round disappointing.

Yep. This transfer was a massive joy and it's kinda sad he gets only 2 seasons here after we convinced him to burn bridges with Naples.
Given the situation it's the right way to sell him though.

Even though I would hate to see him in a rossonero jersey from a personal standpoint, part of me wishes there's truth to the Milan rumours; that Elliott is keen to have him spearhead the Milan attack.

With the eyes of the world on Serie-A next season, isn't it better that the league holds on to one of its superstars, rather than enrich the EPL with yet another?

The catch is that it would probably strengthen Milan way too much in the league, which would be regrettable.

They finished 31 points behind us, I don't think we should be afraid of a shift in balance, Higuain might win them a few more points, but certainly nowhere close to 30 :D

It's not that I see them overtaking us, but with a signing like that they could finish in the top 4. And once Elliott sells the club, relaunch from there - as a CL club.

Imo he isnt forced out of the club. The rumours of Higgy leaving were released way before WC started and our mgmt probably didnt have CR7 in mind at this time. He probably wants to try England and got some signals from Sarri that he is going to join Chelsea and wants him there, so he communicated his will of leaving to our board. If not CR7 we would still probably sell him, but end up with Morata.

honestly, I wouldn't mind, would easily prefer Milan and Roma in CL semifinals over the likes of Pool or Real, it's what we need to take the next step

Knowing how poor Marotta is in selling players. I doubt we're getting the 60 mil tag price for him.

It was stupid from the beginning to pay that 90 mil tag price for him
You forgot to take into account if we hadn't bought Higuain back then, Napoli could have won the Scudetto not us, nor we wouldn't get into CL final two years ago. Buying Higuain for 90 mil and selling him for 60 mil is a good investment to me.
