No no no.

Our club is run by idiots.

They just spent 90M on a "29" year old, fat, out-of-shape, choking, definite flop. Like 100% guaranteed flop. Did you see how fat he was? Did you see how bad he was in the preseason match today.

I seriously doubt he'll score 15 goals in all comps. He's just so obese and so old.
Imagine he does a Torres. (I know you're joking btw)

Anything is possible. :D

But Torres was never even close to the scorer Higuain is. People really had a tendency to overrate Torres. He had 1 great season while at Liverpool and that's basically it. I mean, he moved to Chelsea on the back of a 17 goal season, a 22 goal season, and 9 goals in the first 26 appearances of 2010-11.

He was nowhere near the perennial 20+ goal/season player Higuain is. Torres had one single season in his career with 24+ goals (a 33 goal season). Higuain has scored 24 or more in 6 of the last 8 seasons.

I honestly don't see a player like Higuain, this familiar with Serie A, with seasons of 29 - 24 - 38 goals in the last 3 years pulling a Torres.

My only worry with Higuain is Champion's League. It took us a year to get Tevez back firing in that competition. I really hope Higuain can get himself going there this year.

Torres was all pace and athleticism. When that went away, he was done. Higuain doesn't rely on athleticism (obviously), since he's so fat.

you've all just been brainwashed by the fatphobic media to want anorexic footballers with flat stomachs and perky little tits. There is no proof that Higuian would slim down if he trained harder and ate less burgers
