According to reports, there is now a deal in place between Juve and Roma, but Pipita doesn't want to go. A transfer could still happen, eventually

I don't think it's such a bad idea to have him stay. The man did score 36 Serie A goals in a season for Napoli. He's not the nobody people here make him out to be. I think he lost a lot of desire because he was traded off to make room for Ronaldo and that's the biggest reason last season was so horrendous for him. I don't think he played particularly well the season before that either, but he still scored 23 goals in 50 games, which is roughly 1 in 2 and that just isn't that bad.

It's easy to dislike Gonzalo. He's not the sort of player you go to the stadium for. But he does have certain qualities and they are all too easily overlooked.

We are in danger of becoming Milan after 2007. We have too much old, useless dung on high wages that we can't get rid of.
It's only Higuain that I worry about, the others will leave but Higgy reminds me of iaquinta/Amauri kinda sad a 90m transfer came to this. Fucko Marotta

Only Higuain is hard to sell, because of his huge salary (7-7.5M after tax) and transfer fee to balance our FFP (36M). We don't need much transfer fee for Khedira, Mandzukic, Matuidi and their wage is much more reasonable compare to Higuain

Nope, not gonna happen.

Milan were screwed because Berlusconi back then hardly spent any dime on the team (everyone was speculating that he's planning on selling the club which he eventually did). Sure they signed Ronaldinho but he was in a very shitty form and barca just wanted to get rid of him to anyone.

Juve on the other hand are not afraid to sign top talents who other clubs would die for. Ronaldo last season and De ligt this summer are pretty much dreams to any top club in Europe.

So I really don't see (even remote similarities) between us and them.

Man what a disaster of a signing he turned out to be.
175 million euro investment, barely any resale value and only 2 years of good sporting return.
Love Pipita, but he is a huge sinkhole for the club's finances.
Tbh i would not mind to keep him.... And not because im sold on him, but to at the very least make use of that money we are investing on him.

But the reality is that it seems juventus is dead set on bringing icardi, and they are not willing to give oppurtinities to higuain. So theres no peaceful solution and higuain should pick his bags and leave.

I understand him. He wanted to come here, and he really likes juve. He behaved in his 2 years here and scored goals.... But the cr7 signing buried him. I would have kicked mandzukic instead of him, but alleggri thought otherwise. Life goes on and he needs to turn the page too.

This dude dragging his feet is only going to make his less tolerable to the supporters. I know he wants to stay, earn his place and prove his value to us but he has to know his wages are too high (even with the rumored new wages of 4.5m) and we just don't want him here.

Mandzukic is probably the best combination with the GOAT. Much better than Higi as he cant keep the ball up or win headers
Yeah, the best combination :D We all saw how they combined in the second half of the last season :D
