You know, his physical appearance is a mystery to me as well. In his early twenties Higgy was never a fat man. And yeah, your metabolism might slow down a bit as you age, but not that quickly. Especially not if you're a professional athlete. Either there is something physically wrong with him or he just doesn't really care anymore.
can't you fuck up your metabolism though? He probably went through a passionate love affair with Italian cuisine and now his body doesn't function like it did before.

I used to be able to eat everything and not gain anything, hated it, changed my eating habits for gym purposes and my metabolism changed withing the space of one year, now I really need to count my burgers and beers :D

Great game...there was even a moment where he knocked the ball forward and then outraced the defender to get to it
True.

I'd also add that the biggest plus would be that he was actually really impressive on the counter last night.

Hope he keeps this momentum going!

As bad as he’s been at times this season, he has something like 14 goals in 30 games. Essentially 1 in every 2 games, a very good record for most strikers. Need A LOT more from him obviously.
Its not the goals man, he scoring may be good but his general play has been the worst. So many lost balls, so many fucked up build ups just because instead of doing the simple solution he tries to take on everyone and always ends up dissposessed. Ladt night during one of our counter attacks, instead of passing to a completely free Costa on the right he ended up somehow lossing the ball and one of the Juve players (Pjanic i think) even got mad at Higgy at signalled to him that he had a free man on the right. He is just frustrating to watch. Im 100% sure that we can get a better foreward than him, and that we need a better forward than him.

One bad ball and you want him out? He was our best player alongside Buffon last night.

Nice to see him in good shape again. I hope he feels like he has a lot too prove and motivates himself these days.

One thing i have noticed with him is that when he is in a good mood and looking happy, he shows much better things on the pitch (not rocket science, i know) but in his case i think a lot of the problems is mental.

keep him happy, close to goal and he will do his job.
