It’s reported Gonzalo Higuain’s move to Juventus is back on after the Real Madrid man’s father visited Turin for talks.
Last week it seemed as if the negotiations had collapsed when Higuain stated he wanted only to remain at Real Madrid next season.
However, according to Spanish newspaper Sport, the Argentine has refused the contract renewal proposed to him by the Merengues.
It is suggested Higuain sent his father to Turin for negotiations with theJuventus directors over the last few days.
However, Jose Mourinho is eager to keep hold of Higuain for next season, according to agent Norberto Recasens.
“Mourinho said: 'Stay and we’ll win the Champions League together.’ He did not guarantee a starting spot, but reassured him on the fact he’ll be treated on a par with Karim Benzema.”

He is so not signing with us.

No one wants to come to Serie A anymore. Sad fact of life. We can only sign "stars" from within the league, so I fully expect us to try as hard as we can to sign Cavani (but fail in that as well)

In any case Higuain is the best player we could possibly sign.. Perhaps in the whole world after the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.....

Ewwwwwwwww.

I remember when Gilardino was at Parma. He was a beast. He also killed it at U/21 level as well.

We have a hard time trying to get the likes of Cavani, imagine this guy who plays with one of the best teams in Europe.

Dzeko is our best bet, and we're still far away from him.

This is going round in circles again. A week ago news broke of Van Persie looking around Turin, then everyone's favourite guru was telling the story of Cavani being wanted, now Higuaín's father is pushing the player to Juve. Tomorrow SKY will tell us of Van Persie to Juve again.

I'm inclined to believe the Higuaín stories, because it's convenient to imagine him in a Juve shirt.

True, even the Milano based clubs will face some issues signing the stars they want (despite they have much more cash and managers who are in line with the task)
