I don't think the wage is the defining factor in this deal at all, the way Higuain was talking was indicating that he doesn't really care for maximum wages, he just wanted out of Real and was excited about the Juve option.

He wanted to come here, but we backed off yet again just for a couple of millions, which by the way will be wasted on fringe players without any hesitation. That's just the Marotta way.
