I have to be brutally honest. Tiger Woods hasn't done shit for me. Anytime someone mentions golf that's supposedly of any interest on some sports report, we have to hear about what kind of shoe polish Tiger purchased that day and which hand he used to scratch his ass.
Fortunately I never liked the sport, but Tiger has made me even less interested in it. Or at least the idol worship there is of Tiger Woods.

hey at least you tryed it, and then made your comments about it. i love the game and i intend to go to school this year for it and one day became a head pro at a golf club...i wish i can take the head pro at the golf club i work at right nows job. he gets hammered every night and plays golf 4 times a week...
Tell me about it...the shot he pulled off at the Abbey to win the Canadian Open in 2000 was nuts. A two-iron out of a fairway bunker, 220 yards to the centre of the green, he pulls it off and sinks the birdie-putt to win. Ah, simply amazing.
The Open's at Hamilton GCC and I'm going on the Saturday. Singh, Daly, Ames, and Weir are going to be there, and Tiger still hasn't said no. But it's impossible for him to be in two places at once I suppose since he's in Ireland preparing for the Ryder Cup in two weeks.

gotta correct you on something......it wasnt 2-iron it was 6-iron. but it was one of his greatest shots.

uh wow! tiger woods won his 5th pga tour event in a row. With this win at the Deutsche Bank Championship, this is his 7th win of this year. over this spand of 5 straight wins he has earned just over 5.7 million dollars. he came back from 3 shots with his final round 63. his caddie stevie williams stated the best is yet to come out of tiger. kind of hard to believe but hey. Congrats

I picked up a golf club for the first time and started taking lessons 2 months ago. At first I found it pretty boring, but now I'm beginning to understand its complexities and the challenge behind it, whereas before I thought "how hard can it really be? It's not like it's a freaking moving target!"
I'll keep you guys updated on my progress; at the moment I'm still learning the ropes and hitting balls into the nets with my 7 iron, but I think this could be something I could really come to enjoy.

Nice stereotyping there. Make sure and do it while eating haggis,wasted on whiskey and wearing a kilt.
How far back are you going to stay true to Scottish roots? There are records of golf being played back to about the 1400's.
