he did well getting vidal and pirlo.

last season he wrode out on pogba and khedira who both had solid seasons, and of course dybala bailing him out.

pogba hate him or love him shielded a lot of the midfield problems. and the best part it was a not a masterstroke signing by beppe, but it was by raiola.

marotta owes raiola big time for juve's midfield not falling apart sooner

I don't think that Vidal was his work.

This :beppe: has absolutely no knowledge about outside of Italy. But he smells money very well. That makes him best friends with Raiola.

The thing with Pogba is that the players are starting to admit how much we miss him this season. Something many have been denying since we sold him.

That was coping mechanism and their dislike for persona (even if it never changed, was non committing from beginning) clouding their judgment of the player. Who frankly is an amazingly complete player.

I agree we miss Pogba but that's only because he wasn't replaced adequately. I don't think people would've cared if our midfield was good.

I dint see anyone caring about the Vidal sale once we got into gear last season.

Because losing one of Vidal or Pogba is not the same as losing both.

We replaced Tevez adequately

Marchisio has taken up Pirlo's role and has become an adequate replacement.

My point is if we had got more quality midfield reinforcements, we wouldn't be talking or caring about Vidal and Pogba sales.

I agree but this time it went at the price of buying a forward, where if you ask me, the midfield is still the most important department of a winning team.

We obviously miss one big CM player. We chose a big CF instead. We'd miss him as well.

The Vidal and Pogba sales have been well spoken about and explained, our recruitment choices come into question when a particular area struggles.

Verratti would be a dream signing, as he'd give us so much in both a defensive and creativity standpoint. Pity it won't happen. So we should try get two, young, quality, "high potential" guys like Tolisso and Dahoud. Nzonzi isn't young, but he'd be great in this midfield too.
