Our lack of creativity is our most glaring issue imo. We need a player or two who can actually take on/beat players and break down stubborn defences.

look at our defense. at times eraly in the season we only had like one defender on the bench in many matches. and we did fine. we have missed asamoah, barzagli for long periods. even caceres, evra and ogbonna missed many games through injuries. and we have done just fine.
mid has missed pirlo for many games. and with an out of form vidal. still doing fine.
but we are a tevez injury away from a crisis. any other player we have cover for

Chiellini has zero chance to be sold. He will retire at Juve.
Bonucci is following the same path.
Next season I hope Allegri tries Bonucci or Barzagli on the left side. Chiellini must experience bench... he's clearly declining..

Disagree. Although it's a need, indeed, I think we really need 2 fullbacks who can attack, who are quick enough to offer width upfront.
We have creativity now with Pogba, Tevez, and even some Pereyra. What we don't have is width. We need better fullbacks or wingers for that.
We also need a better CB, it could be Rugani.

Rugani's other half was purchased for 3/4M in january I think.
Marotta antecipated it because of Arsenal interest.

Definitely 2 WC wingbakcs are a must at this point... even more than an AM.
Our guys can créate things constantly in games...even without a proper AM...but our witdh is simply bullshid...we cant cross for shid and our WBs cant dribble or really worry enemy defenders.

Rugani is still an unknown. Lots of players (defenders) have looked amazing with small teams but turned out to be extremely limited once they came to a big team. I recall Kjaer was great for Palermo, shit everywhere else. I recall Lovren was amazing for southhampton, shit everywhere else and the easiest example is Bonnuci and Rannochis who were the best defenders in Serie A with bari and both turned out to be limited with the more promising one turning out worse. Ogbonna was great for torino too.
Ofcoarse that doesnt mean Rugani will be like them, there also lots of players who continue to be good or even great. As you have said he is having a great start to his career and hopefully has a steady development. But he still hasn't done anything to show that he can take the place of a great like Barzagli.

You must ask Agnelli.
But he can snatch player caliber tevez, barzagli, pirlo, and vidal with "small salary" and small fee transfer / free
He also look great player like sanchez, aguero , etc who has quality.
The problem is not marotta. The problem is our current financial.
But i am sure our financial will improve soon.
