The announcement is imminent because Juventus and Manchester City have all but signed on the dotted line: Carlitos Tevez is set to wear the famous black and white stripes after a €12 million deal with add-ons was struck. Reports suggest Bianconeri CEO Giuseppe Marotta asked to take Kolarov on loan with a purchase option as well, but City politely declined as they consider the Serb not for sale at the moment. Maybe things will change a bit further down the line. 'El Apache' is due in Turin tomorrow to undergo a medical.

Would expect such an offer to be rejected this early in the summer.

Man City would be far more likely to accept such an offer in the middle of August if no-one has shown an interest in buying Kolarov outright.

Yea especially if there's any truth in the inter Kolarov liaison. Then there's the question of his willingness to snip wages. But if Tevez did it, Kolarov might too, though he really isn't worried about playing for his spot on the national team.

This is the intent I like. I don't care that it's a cheap deal. I don't care about any of the money we paid or will pay. Just the fact that he showed up and brought a game and didn't leave Manchester till he closed Apache Indian. This has impressed me and it's what I wanted to see. And truth be told though, I have backed him on this and I'm very happy that he delivered.

I know @baggio, I know. Just happy to see you say something positive about him for a change :D

I know that he will still have his critics, and that this thread will be swarming with haters at some point. But it's cool to see that we all realize that today is his grand day. He delivered, god damn it!!

And he brought the top player here on his own terms, which you have to admit is pretty cool.

And you know what, I bet he dropped it as he was leaving.

They stand up, shake hands and congratulate one another. Beppe then proceeds to bury his fist in the candy on the table and put it in his pocket for the journey home, then he drops it "How about that Kolarov on a loan + option to buy?" *grin*. He then proceeds to be escorted out by security. While saying "Oh don't be like that!"

Is that before or after he accidentally on purpose spilled water on them?
