Juve, you need one of these four
Sanchez, Aguero, Pastore or Vidic. It’s the leap in quality. The Piazon farce is a lesson about investments
Mourinho nightmare for Inter
Red madness from Balotelli. End for City
Nesta anxiousness. “Dear Milan, maybe I’ll leave”

If Piazon is going to Chelsea for the money, let him. We don't need players here only for the money, we need them because they love the club, and have heart and will give it all they got.

too many people missing the point
I speak for myself but I think other peoples point is that its better business to invest 1m a year in a talent, rather than paying 2m a year to an over the hill player that won't develop.

I would rather pay piazon 1m a year in the hope he would develop, rather than paying toni 2m a year knowing he will decline. our whole strategy is questionable, even more so considering we have no chance of any short term success....

What a quaint and impractical notion.
Good luck with that.
All I'm trying to say is, the cost of a player doesn't always reflect the talent. We shouldn't be gambling that much money on a kid, especially in the situation we are in now. Yes, we didn't spend wisely on players like Martinez but two wrongs don't make a right. So lets hope this is to more wise negotiations and purchases.

our current buy experience policy has not worked out well yet. Its time to adopt a different approach. Agree with what you said!

But you said nothing like that.

Piazon is not worth that kind of money (as of now). He's not worth making that kind of gamble. He's only a kid, and that kind of money will only go to his head. He has to earn his stripes before something like that. So if he's not coming, lets find a player that will. Someone who truly wants to wear our shirt because obviously he doesn't.
