I think it's a perfectly valid point. Giovinco is a better footballer than DC, yet we loaned him out to Parma and signed Martinez, who is, from what I understand, a similar type of a player.

On the other hand, as much as I'm a DC fanboy, he doesn't cut it. But in this case, we're willing to give him a chance.

Well, he is versatile. Can play both wings and in the attack, plus he's better built than Giovinco. What worries me is the lack of skill and attitude he has shown so far.
