we should first be sure what kind of striker we need...
dzeko and pazzini are two very different strikers in my book
dzeko is a player who can create more by himself... he can also pick up some balls in midfield and creates space for himself or other strikers... he reminds me of zlatan when he was at inter....
pazzini is in my view is more a trezeguet kind of striker...he is more in the box than dzeko i think.... he is a pure goal scorer a guy that is there where he has to be....
so if we use the 4-4-2 with wingers we should go for a pazzini or somebody else... if we play something like a 4-2-3-1 i would go for dzeko
Yes it's true, Dzeko plays more, but in the 4-4-2 they would be in a similar position.

    Well of course.

He doesn't move his head when he's inside the box. He's just waiting for the ball to hit him so it goes in.

And that piece of wood costs more than 15mln euros. Yes! :tuttosport:
just like Milito when he played for Genoa...see where he is now.

Our defense is laughable, I don't see your point. Even Zigic would score against us.

He alone didn't create almost anything.

When it comes to that type of player, Gilardino is much better.

he always did well against Inter's defense, this year and last season as well...would Zigic score against them also?

Dooz you are dodging your own statements a lot here :D You say he wouldn't score past good defences, but he does, then you talk about him not creating enough? He is a centre forward, I guess Trezeguet was a big flop at Juve?

I disagree actually. I partly disagree.I think Pazzo is a very good striker, very good finisher. Someone with potential to score more goals than Amauri and Iaquinta. He's also in his best years. He will turn 26 this summer.

But it's a fact that the very good season and Samp's 4th place and their chance to play in CL will make him much more expensive than his real value and Juve have way too many bigger problems in the team. My problem here is that if we overspend on a striker who isn't worthy of the asked money, will hurt us where we need the quality more, in defense. To have a striker like Pazzini also requires having quality support from the midfield (AM and wingers).
If we do have a good plan and if we intend to buy the needed support for a striker like Pazzini, then I will accept him, gladly.

I'd rather we work on buying defenders and midfielders now. If we do that, then we just wait to see if Sampdoria will make the CL. If they do, then either we go on with the attackers we have, or we try to buy someone else. If they don't, then we can buy him cheaper in August.
    Spot on!

Never said that mate. I thought you could read.
you didn't say it, but I distinctly remember a forum member, I think it was Dusan, who posted a long, winding dedication that was your farewell to the this place...quite hypocritical of you to be trolling here again.
