hey all.

I'll be living a year in Berlin starting in october, so I'm already trying to adapt to the local culture., listening to German music, for example.
Anyone can help me?

and please, no Schlagermusik!

Sportfreunde Stiller. You should definitely download "Siehst du das genau so" and "Ein Kompliment"

I haven't heard any other songs worth mentioning myself tho...

Rammstein aren't my type of music, but they're impressive. Their shows are amazing!

My style is mostly electro, but I listen to some rock/ pop-rock music sometimes. I discovered Mediengruppe Telekommander recently, they're the shit.
I found about them through the soundtarck of Die Fetten Jahre Sind Vorbei. A grea film and a great soundtrack!

And Scooter? does it still exist? this is the guy who took famous melodies and made them sound like a housy mess, right?

but geof why should you bother about music anyway? the radiostations will probably play everything whats currently popular in europe, not only german music.

Well, because I want to know the local culture a bit more. Berlin is known to have an incredible music scene, and I'd like to dicover that. I also want to get used to the sound of German.

And, mostly because I'm so excited to go!!
