What are you talking about? It's football manager...I think you mixed it up with some other game. Look

It says 3+ ...it's not 13+ so you can play this one

    You want?:D

Sorry Dooz for being mean to you earlier:undecide:
Yeah, seriously. I find it more interesting to lead weaker teams where it's actually some challenge :) And dunno why but I like them, it must be the pirate style.

    That's alright.

    Fred, Monaco fired you?
    no, not yet.

I used to be really good at 2008, didn't buy 2009, went back to buy 2010, and have had mixed results. Got a top four spot for Wigan in my second season, the first time i played it.

All in all its a pretty unrealistic game. The transfers are weird as hell, and it feels like they don't really watch the Ligue, their ratings of players in the Ligue is quite odd to be honest.

For example at Monaco, Nene is supposed to be a star. But in the game, the guy is really poor, and Pino, Alejandro Alonso and all my other wings are better than him.

You know you can edit it, right?

The game was released in october 30 of 2009, so it's based on 2008/2009 season, so it really doesn't counts any recent performances. :shifty:

Which game is realistic? The one where you take the gun and pull a Rambo by killing millions of soldiers? :D
Never play these games. Gaming all in all is pretty silly imo. Don't shoot me people :snoop:

I play FM and i play PES sometimes. Neither are realistic enough for me to enjoy them too much though. I think they do that on purpose, because the majority of people who play FM, would like to be able to buy Messi and C.Ronaldo when they play with Man City.

I would excuse them if they needed to rely on recent performances. But Nene has always been a good player and has always been better than the likes of Alonso and Pino. In the game, my assistant rated him below those two at the start of the season, so i thought maybe my assistant is just stupid. But then as the season went on, Nene was really poor for me. So i ended up benching him. Thats like Barcelona bench Messi, mind you :shifty:

And not only that, some players who are centerbacks, have their natural position as rightbacks, leftbacks are centerbacks and so on and so on.

I used to play PES a lot, but Fifa is better these days Fred, you should give it a go.

(just don't play manager mode :D)
Really, are you sure about that?

Man last time i played FIFA, the gameplay was really poor. Graphics and stuff like that have always been better in FIFA, but PES has always had the better gameplay. I've given up on FIFA a long time ago.

    I've noticed that

Give it a go with another league? probably one of the main ones and see how it goes, regarding transfers, sometimes you can buy insane players and all but sometimes they reject you, i remember i bought Veloso for 13m while at Sevilla and then some seasons after i was at Milan, tried to buy him (paid his release clause) but he kept rejecting me because he felt at home at Sevilla, same thing happened me with Agüero and Atletico.

Ah, so you're just a cave person.
Not really, its not like i haven't tried games. I've had a PS3 for 4 years now, and believe me, i've tried all sorts of games, from Metal Gear Solid to Fallout etc.

The only game i really enjoyed was PS3's GTA :D

Yes, i've been a PES fanboy for years but i recently got Fifa 10 (last time i had played was fifa 2004, mind you) and man, they have improved so much over the years, even some friends who loathed that series have started to play them because it has improved A LOT.

Ball psychics, movement, and player's reactions/movement has improved A LOT. Gameplay is better now too.

Ya the main leagues are ok i guess. But still, it shouldn't be so easy. I took a limited Wigan side, and got them 4th spot in my second season.

Will give it a go then. PES is only fun when playing multiplayer mode.
