well if they have bigger ambitions for next season then Skibbe should forget about the Uefa cup and concentrate on the game next week against Munich. They could go for the final CL place.

just saw the goals from the Bochum game and talking about horrible games by defenders, look at that performance by Karim Hagui the tunisian defender i think.Just horrible game

    Bayern 2-1 Leverkusen
    Dortmund 0-2 Bremen

None of the Top4 really struggled this weekend.
Today, Werder did what has to be done and nothing more, a clever performance against often unfair Dortmund players. Klose scored again after an Owomoyela cross and Diego made it 0-2 with a terrific freekick.

well nobody should've expected Dortmund to beat Werder especially with a rejuvenated Klose and with Borowski back from Injury.

Am sure Dortmund will just make it through, funny thing is that their fans expect them to reach the Intertoto spot.

Leverkusan couldn't beat a Bayern side thats almost Limping. But you could see Hitzfield's touch, as he didn't have Schweni in the midfield and he started with three upfront.

    Leverkusen trailing Gekas

Bayer Leverkusen have admitted their intent to bring the Bundesliga’s leading scorer, Theofanis Gekas, to the club in the summer.

The 26-year-old Greece international has been a revelation for Bochum this season, banging in 17 goals so far in a team that has generally been scrapping to stay clear of the relegation zone, and has attracted the attention of a number of top sides in Germany.

“He's an interesting player. We certainly have quite a good chance [of signing him], but other clubs are interested in him too,” said Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voeller.

When asked to confirm rumours the striker had signed a 3-year contract with Leverkusen, Voeller refused to comment.

The player is currently on a season-long loan to Bochum from Panathinaikos. It is the Greek side who possess the player's transfer rights, though Bochum have first option on a permanent transfer.
