I've been interested because of the personnel involved. How does it compare with The Wire?

I seen 6 och the 7 eps, you reminded me to watch the last one, thanks.

And yeah its pretty well written, per usual by David Simon, pretty raw dialogue and interesting viewing, the distinct authentic narrative style of his is quite evident.

Having never watched The Wire I am in no position to compare the two.

Generation Kill is more based around the characters so don't expect to alot of action though there is a few action scenes.

Its based on a book and is based around the actual soldiers from The 1st Recon Marines who took part in the Invasion of Iraq.

I feel its worth a look as its a like modern based Band Of Brothers.
