Dont know how they got Karl motherfucking Urban for tv But since its done by J.J Abrams and the Fringe team, and they just did new Star Trek with him, I'm assuming its due to that. Too bad its in Fox, nothing good last more then a dozen episodes there...

I don't know if anyone else is into it, but I recently watched a few episodes of the series Longmire. Done by A&E. Modern day western, taking place in a small Wyoming town concentrating on a sheriff (longmire) and his deputies. Stars Katee Sackoff (of Battlestar Galactica) and Lou Diamond Phillips.

I started watching from the pilot and it's a pretty solid mystery.

Oh yeah, The Killing is really underrated. I like it as well.

It's kind of funny how major networks are struggling, running the same old recycled bullshit and the small cable stations are making some really interesting TV. (TNT and USA excluded)
