The first season is very slow, that's what put a lot of people off from continuing but trust me it's gets better with each & every episode. It's head & shoulders above every other show at the moment.

Yeah it's finished, good news is that it's been picked up for another season. More awesomeness to come!:D

What i like about it is that it has a totally original storyline. Characters are awesome, unique, good casting imo & as you mentioned great fight scenes.Doesn't hurt that it has raunchy sex scenes & nudity. Ivana Milicevic is amazing, she really impressed with me her fight scenes. As for Rebecca, she reminds me of Wendy from wonder years but a prettier version.

The only downfall is the issue with the FBI. They have a massive database with DNA, fingerprints & pictures, so why wouldn't they do a check on the sheriff if they suspected him of something?
I'm kind of numb to cable series constant nudity (contractually obligated to show it all every episode almost lol), though not complaining hehe. But yeah just finished 10th episode, season one in less then a day, now only need to wait near a year for next season...All in all, it was pretty damn hard boiled series, very very unique, quite menacing villains and quite hard boiled main characters. Ivana Milicevics transistion from a frighten housewife in hiding to a total femme fatale was pretty nice. Not enough can be said about the main character "Sheriff Hood", defenitely very gritty no nonsense kinda guy (reminds me of Parker book series...). All in all very good ensemble, asian tranny was lolsy :D

Dont think the FBI checked into him that hard btw, only that douchy agent blowing hot air, also we dont know how high end of a hacker the asian tranny is, he said he him covered on all basis, since the real sheriff didnt have any family to speaking of or any electronic trail outside his work. Plus the FBI dont suspect him THAT much to want to check DNA, it would take a lot for them to question his identity, for now they are interested in his very rash and unorthodox behaviour.

I totally forgot about the queer hacker(awesome character), i guess i wasn't paying too much attention. It will be interesting how they go about maintaining the tempo in the second season. Maybe they'll go into more depth with other characters, especially Kai's creepy right hand man.

Been watching girls. I like it.
Makes a nice change from dressing up like one :p

anybody else watching vikings?
Yeah watched the first 5 episodes, still have to see the newest one though

Spartacus is something.
I was disappointed that the son didn't suffer more when he was killed, and I really thought Caesar would be the one to kill Tiberius

I've been on a Mad Men viewing marathon for the last few days. Does anyone here like the show?
I've tried watching it, but have never really got into it...though i have watched the first two seasons

Struggling to find a series to match the awesomeness of breaking bad, soa and game of thrones. It all seems meh.

And i dare you to say the wire, shite.

Just saw this clip for the first time in awhile. The Simpsons used to be so funny, shame they're just milking the cow till it dies a pitiful death now.

about to give these two a try, once I get the time that is

last night I caught the new NBC Hannibal series - has potential ... initially thought it was a new HBO or FX or something show and then my jaw dropped when I saw it's on NBC :D. Been a while since I cared for a anything on that network, tbh. Hopefully this one won't go to shit after a couple of episodes.

there was this guy on "Who wants to be a millionaire" and he also loved the show ... actually, I think that was the only way he could claim to be "into girls", if you know what I mean :p

just saying :D

Has anyone started Arrow?
it's your prototypical CW show aimed at younger audiences - if your expectations aren't too high, maybe you'd like it ... just don't expect HBO, FX, AMC level

I'd give Justified a try - just make sure you persevere thru the first 6 or so episodes of season one, which one might find underwhelming but they set up the rest of the show.

I really love that show. What was great about it was its attention to detail in the authenticness of its time period.

Watching the season opener Sunday, I can't say it was bad. But it's like they slacked off. For one, using the word "grok" in the late 1960s... really?!? I mean, sure the guy could be a Robert A. Heinlein nerd, but presuming those around him were? "Grok" really didn't enter the general vernacular until much later with computer nerds.

And the "SuperBowl"? It wasn't colloquially called that until Jan 1969 with SuperBowl III. Until then they popularly called it the "AFL-NFL World Championship Game".

Slacking off, slacking off...
