And Vlat, give Supernatural a serious go, its extremely good and evolves to say the least (from chase random monster in first season, to how it goes to up til season 5), it has everything from ridicolous funny banter, very dark and unique horror element (between lol cheesy to really insane creepy), and just downright mysterious larger then life complicated Good vs Evil plot.
Wow, can't believe that. :D But dully noted and will keep in mind.

Anyone like IT Crowd? Some of the acting is amateurish but I find it entertaining.

Hell, I got more than I bargained for.

I can't believe I'm downloading Elvin's recommendation, Mad Men first, but it seems interesting. Then I'm probably gonna go with Dexter or The Shield and work my way through this thread. :D

Dexter is fantastic, a real one of a kind show. Weeds is funny at times but the show is just stupid IMO.

Anybody here watch Lost? I heard the final season starts in January and I am super stoked for it

Screw the haters man, I'm just teasing. Fuck, I watched every episode of O.C. and I ain't ashamed one bit. Seth Cohen, FTW.
Haha me too, I liked Ryan better he was SO hot. I only watched it until Marissa died though

if you want cheap laughs watch 2 and a half men, but it gets boring very easily
I love that show, it's one of my faves along with The Big Bang Theory

This is basically a recommend me a show thread, but what the heck.

So, I've pretty much watched everything I was interested in and now I'm bored.

I want one fun type of show, one you can watch a whole season for the weekend and not be bored. Stuff like Entourage, Californication, Chuck, How I Met Your Mother...easy shows, don't necessarily need to be sitcoms, just easy to watch.

I also want something with a "wee" bit more serious plot; ie Sons Of Anarchy, Generation Kill, True Blood, The Wire...anything similar of newer date out there?

    P.S. This is about newer show, don't recommend Seinfeld and I don't know...X-Files. :D
I LOVE How I Met Your Mother. Neil Patrick Harris makes me laugh so much

Dexter is defenitely very very unique and fascinating.

Lost I watch, and its my nr 1 current show, by far, I guess not many watch it anymore after the slowness of season 2, but since then til season 5, been pure wtf and mindblowing awesomness. The very definition of epic mystery.

Now that the second season of Sons of Anarchy is over and the current season of Dexter ends next week, I need to start watching something else. I'm downloading Dollhouse recommended by Sheik. Should I start watching Lost?

And you will get Lost in an utterly fascinating way :D

Dollhouse is decent Iceman, sadly not fullfilling its promise in first season, too episodic, the real story just brewing in the background. But season 2 is better.

If you want more then current series, I would recommend a great cult short series by the same dude who made dollhouse, a series called Firefly. Calling it fantastic would be underselling it.
