I missed around 15-16 pages while I was away, cant bother reading all of it now since you all know where I stand.

I just want to say this. Homosexuals are people as well, they have their rights, dreams, aspirations, and want to live a normal life which includes having a family. The thing I dont like is that people think they should decide what rights or possibilities people should have without being even close to that situation. The typical example of "first they came for the jews, but I didnt say anything..."

SO, let's try to think from another perspective and to understand that people deserve rights and that just because we dont agree doesnt mean we have to prevent other people enjoying their lives and living them the way they wish and the way which makes them happy while enjoying all the rights that most other people have...

I'm seriously not getting RAbs argument that homosexuals chose to be so.

There are a number of questions I have:

1. If they are born heterosexual (i.e. attracted to the opposite sex), why exactly would they choose to be homosexual?

2. If they choose to be homosexual (i.e. they choose to be with the same sex instead of feeling an attraction that is caused by their bodies/hormones etc) why do they need treatment if they can just choose note to be anymore?

3. Why would they choose to be homosexual if they are actually homosexual and they know that they would be persecuted, especially in certain countries?

It seriously makes no sense whatsoever.

If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the following.

There would be:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere, both north and south
8 Africans

Africans are not the norm.

Word but don't be prepared for a response. It's a huge hole in their logic so they just ignore it.

I still cant believe that people actually think people choose to become Homosexuals.

I don't remember ever making a conscious choice of liking/being attracted to females, I can't imagine why it would be any different to a homosexuals being attracted to men.

It's sad to see such prejudice and homophobia alive and well in this world. Ignorance and Intolerance.

Funny thing is in Australia anyway, Homos are usuall pretty smart, happy, successful and rich. I know its a bit of a generalization to say all of them are, but if they are such inferior and "un-normal" people how would this be possible?

It's funny the same people on here that are arguing for gay marriage come from a world that think that simply showing 'love, care and affection' is all that a kid needs. As if, your parenting techniques are proven to be so superior. The same kids that are raised this way still somehow miraculously grow up to lack many things, such as respect for their parents, for the elderly, and for their neighbors. If I had a penny for every time I heard a kid call his mom a bitch and their dad a dick, I'd be am millionaire. If I had a penny for every time an elderly person was disrespected by a kid, I'd be a billionaire and if I had a penny for every time a kid showed a lack of disregard for a neighbor I'd be a trillionaire.

Then there's the whole bastardization of the population, "who's the baby daddy?" problem, and teen pregnancy problem.

Come talk about gay marriage when your heterosexual parenting techniques progress enough to raise civilized children.
