They've made a show (well, they say it's more like a long movie) of one my favourite novel series Game of Thrones. It's premiering on HBO, this Sunday, April 17th @ 10 PM Eastern.

If you weren't planning to watch it, then do. I don't really watch TV, but I'm looking forward to this.

It's a good series. It can take a while to get into, but it is worth the effort

Yeah, but the concept is absurd. As if people would go after Ernest Hemingway and say, "Get off your fat ass and write us a novel" for 11 years after "For Whom The Bell Tolls" -- as if the guy owes them churning out factory-produced crap like Danielle Steele or something.

There are a lot of people who wish George Lucas never opened is fat, chinless mouth after 20 years to make another Star Wars trilogy.
