I didnt have an argument in mind to be honest...

I agree. In the summer it was either Melo or D'Agostino, now 6months after spending €25m on Melo we suddenly can't try to buy D'Agostino it makes no sense whatsoever.

It makes sense because we need a deep lying midfielder who can pass the ball. Marchisio seems the only one even possibly capable of playing that role. Yet we have asked Melo to do it more than the italian.

Melo was a very ODD signing. Because he is clearly a very different kind of player to d'agostino, yet we got him, when we couldn't get D'agostino...where is the logic there???

It dosen't make sense, maybe for a start if Secco analyzed his options then we wouldn't be scampering 6months later and trying to buy D'Agostino again, not that I necessarily think that Melo won't be successful at Juve.

if we get him for a decent price, he will be a massive add-on to our midfield. it was clear this season that we started loosing control the moment Marchisio got injured.

this is a transfer move that make sense. especially that sessoko will be away for the african nations cup which will be perfect for melo to go back to his preferred position as a destroyer with marchesio and D'ago in front of him.

the problem is that will udinese ask for giovenco, marchesio and who ever as part of the deal?

You can't do that though. Marchisio is unsellable, but I can see either Giovinco or De Ceglie being sacrified. But you say it could be a massive add-on, but we can't afford that to be honest, Tiago and/or Poulsen have to be sold for any hope for this kind of a deal to happen, look at their wages... meh.

If we get rid of Tiago i wouldnt mind seeing D'Agostino come in. I think it would give the coach more to play with around the midfield. Finally (hopefully) getting a good balance in that area. But thats all wishful thinking i guess

Gaetano D’Agostino is back in the frame for Juventus in an £8m deal, but Atletico Madrid’s interest in Cristian Molinaro is key.

The Udinese midfielder was already so close to joining Juve in the summer before negotiations collapsed in a row over his price-tag.

They went for Felipe Melo instead and he has been disappointing so far this season, so there are reports of a renewed interest in D’Agostino.

There is tension between the midfielder and Udinese, so a split is more likely than ever at the Stadio Friuli and poor form has reduced his price-tag significantly.

Juve are ready to offer £8m plus a player on loan with Molinaro the favourite to make the switch.

Atletico Madrid enter the fray, as there are reports in Spanish newspaper As that they have already agreed a deal to take Molinaro to La Liga.

Other alternatives for Udinese include Sebastian Giovinco, Paolo De Ceglie and co-ownership of Davide Lanzafame.​

It is not fair to hold Melo responsible for his performances. He is shoved into the back, and is not able to do anything from that position. That is not the position he plays in Brazil. The 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 (no one knows yet) formation we will be using against Parma will bring Melo up on the field, and he will be able to do more things.

Secondly, they can add-in Paolo De Ceglie but they better not think about giving away Giovinco. If they did, that would be a very sad day for Juventus.

I think D'Agostino is a great player to induct to the Juventus squad but only for an 8 million euro price tag. No players included, that's enough.​
