From what I could remember his agent said that he (Inler) wouldn't mind playing for Napoli which is quite conflicting since he also said earlier he agreed on personal terms with us and not Napoli.

It's known that a deal was made earlier between clubs but I hardly think Udinese would mind having Juve and Napoli in a bidding war witch eachother for Inler. May raise his price by some bucks..

I don't think there is a bidding war, I think Napoli agreed terms with Udinese first and talked with the player and he did not agree on the terms. Udinese then gave the green light for Juventus, probably matching Napoli's offer just to talk with the player. Most probably Inler enjoyed the deal from Juventus but since he talked with Napoli first, he wanted to negotiate with them making his agent say that he is interested in going there (which he probably is). If Napoli can match Juve's offer or give him more then he has no reason whatsoever to join Juventus.

Also look at it this way, at Juventus there are Marchisio, Melo, Pirlo and Sissoko. Who is there to compete with him at Napoli? He knows he is going there to boss the midfield, he knows he is being signed as their starter.

Napoli will not match Juventus wage offerings and judging by Inler's interview today I think he see's Juventus as the bigger club.

What did Inler say today?
“Juventus remain and will always be one of the greatest clubs in the world,” he stated.

“It has gone badly for them this season after last term’s problems. A unique rather than a rare event.

“I think you can calmly expect next season to be completely different. The proverb of 'there isn’t two without three’ doesn’t count for Juve…”

Udinese had agreed a deal with Napoli for the player, but it is believed that Inler would prefer a move to Turin instead.

“My agent Dino Lamberti is looking after my future, but so too is Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo,” the 26-year-old added.

“After four years in Udine I have no problem with the environment of Italian football. Of course I am ready.

“If someone wants me then I will run to them as soon as I receive the right offer.”

Juventus have already signed one Swiss player this summer in the shape of Sampdoria’s Reto Ziegler.

“Of course we have spoken about Juventus, we speak about a lot of things during these long days with the national side. Reto is enthusiastic about his new adventure in Bianconero.”

So how does that show he regards Juventus as a bigger club to Napoli? He did not even mention Napoli, he only shows sympathy with Juventus highlighting that things are not going well for the club.

Top line makes it pretty clear what he thinks of us.

But he does not say at all what he thinks of Napoli yet he says that he will run to the club that gives him the right offer.

The only part where they say he prefers Turin over Napoli is what that article "believes"

Did you? Did you understand what was said in the second link I posted?

Isn't the most important thing the agent's WORDS?
The TMW link actually quotes a Napoli daily newspaper Il Mattino. The newspaper is from Friday, but published on Thursday evening. Now, being a newspaper from Naples, I can not help but doubt if the agent did say that, but even if he did, all he said was that Inler still doesn't have a deal with Juve and that nothing is decided yet where will the Swiss continue his career. He also added that he expects to hear from Napoli too and that Inler shouldn't mind playing for Napoli.

Absolutely nothing concrete there.
