To clarify my comments, I do not underate Harry and appreciate his achievements. He has managed to make Spurs play good football and win matches. That is an achievement for any Spurs manager.

The point I'm trying to make is that Harry is suitable for Spurs, but would he have been picked by Chelsea or United? Would Barca pick such a coach? Heck, only the Inter of old would take such a gamble. Remember the Spurs fans did not like him when he first arrived and I'm sure the Saints fans will agree he isn't all that.

Del Neri has not even achieved half of what Harry has achieved and therefore like Harry, would not be considered by any of the top teams.

Well ATM, any of England's top teams would be willing to have him on the bench I say (not manure ofcourse). But you're right though comparing Portsmouth's Harry to Del Neri's current situation, And I for one would be ecstatic if the latter turns out to be such a profitable gamble.

Contentious, I'm not sure even Liverpool would take him. I don't think Del Neri has the 'Del Boy' magic Harry has. I do not believe he is a coach worthy of the bench.

I wish that any manager who takes the reigns can do what Harry is doing at Spurs and get us playing good football and win matches. I would settle for winning the Scudetto 4 years on the trot whilst playing gutter football.

I like what Del Neri has done at Samp.

I like the simple, organised football he plays at Samp.

I would like there to be a close relationship between the coach and the directors, which would happen if Del Neri and Marrotta arrived.

However, there is no suggestion that Del Neri has what it takes to succeed at a big club.

Why not? He used to play some attractive football with Barca and with them he was a proven winner ending up with two league titles and a CL triumph.

I'd take him over Del Neri that's for sure.

Sky reported Benitez deal was done only a week ago, Sky is the new Tuttosport. Del Neri will have to change formation from the 4-4-2 if he wants to include Diego as we have no intention of selling him. He could play behind the lone striker but that would be bad for him.

Del Neri is not coming I guarentee it.
