Been getting more into Funk and Soul recently - Maceo Parker, Marlena Shaw, Sam and Dave et al.

Can anyone suggest any cool smaller bands or non synthesized mainstream? I prefer to listen to music on vinyl so any cool bands from back when i'd love to get hold of.
