We didnt beat manu!!! Were going to relegated to the serie D. FIRE SECCO, FIRE RANIERI!!!
yeah, don't forget "We have no creativity" - THE sentence of the year :)

Seriously, good performance overall. Sissoko very good again, poulsen getting better every game, chiellini fabulous on the LB (except for the going forward part, but good long balls also). Legro good, camo is getting better again (i was disappointed from him so far). Our attack is a bit short on balls, we're going forward to fast, and then screw up because we're closed down by their (world class) defense.
Overall pretty good. Should be enough for artmedia :)

He is dependent striker he depends on midfielders he is not as big star player to create chances himself he can only use them
Do not agree 100%
But he needs space and pace.
Our midfield is the acilles as usual.
Play DP as trequartista with neddy and camo on the wings and siss or poulsen as defensive.

Solid defensively, but not much going forward when Del Piero and Camo went off. I cant wait for Seba to return. Will give us some spark and wont leave us playing Brazzo as 2nd choice.

It was nice to see the crowd give Del Piero an applause during his sub. Class is universally respected, and with the fiasco their fans are going through with Ronaldo, they appreciate players like Del Piero.

lets hope so, they conceded 3 goals to a Finnish team, although we let Mezzocorona score so i dont know what is worse but with our firepower we should destroy them especially as we are home first leg.

Well, it was a boring friendly!
My thoughts:
Defensivly we were good. Chiellini showed efforts when going forward, but Grygera was way too defensive. Zebina would have been a better choice. In modern football and in a 4-4-2 you need full-backs who are running up and down the flank the whole match. Grygera doesn't do that. Chiellini isn't a leftback anymore. A new right-back would be ideal.....
Momo and Poulsen did well in defense. Poulsen looks a little bit lost from time to time. Should get better in future when the understanding with the rest of the team gets better. Momo showed some nice passes. I liked that.
Brazzo shouldn't play. When will he finally win a one-on-one??? We would have been a lot better with Nedved or Giovinco.
Del Piero was what we needed. Somebody who closes the gap between mid and the offense. Our best player, by far!

All in all I think we don't lack creativity. At the moment the movement from the players is weak. The full-backs are not going forward as much, as they should. Poulsen and Momo should go more forward. We have the ball in the midfield, and both are staying way to defensive. They have the skills and the passing game to contribute to the offense. They should close this gap between mid and offense, what is impossible when they can't assist DP or Camoranesi, because they don't move to a better passing distance. Could be Ranieris poor tactic or their poor movement.

how did melberg perform?
Did good actually....

atleast there r some good stuff shown in this game (Defensively), mellberg and legro looked good in the back, chiellini as usuall great. Sissoko moved alot today and had bitter game than last friendlies. We had some problems going forward. But definately we played today bitter than hamburg's game......

Yeah, you're right, because we created so much against Manure U-20.

Nevermind though. Keep going with your braniac opinions.
Oh thanks!

We didn't creat much, cause our movement was weak. Thats what I said. With Nedved or Giovinco instead of Brazzo and a better positioning of Poulsen and Momo when going forward we would have "created" a lot of chances.
I won't feel offended now. You will never change.... :D

Our movement has been weak since 2004. In only a few matches has our movement been anything other than 'weak'.

But I said to myself I'm not getting into this stuff again. You guys think we're fine, so be it.

i saw plenty of good things today. some rare but wonderful plays and passes by sissoko. a good defense, a dynamic camo , some nice plays by delpiero.

we are well organized and even quality players dont seem to be able to push forward through our lines.

however i am kind of worried because of how static the team is. dont know if its ranieri's orders ( i think in a good part they are), that our players are a bit tired ( we have had a lot of games in very few days) or a little bit of both.

but, whenever i see our cm get possession of the ball most of the times they either pass backwards or horizontally. rarely do i see them pass vertically. the reason for this is the lack of movement and projections. when a midfielder gets the ball i see the rest just standing there waiting for the ball instead of moving and unmarking themself's. this is what leads to our lack of pace.

we need to see more movement and a bit more of dynamic to see our play improve. hopefully we will have it by the time serie A starts. and hopefully what we have now is enough for the preliminary.
