May be you want him in center because we don't have quite good second central defender?
Although, i might have been too harsh on Chiellini and his offensive qualities.
He had Salihamidzic on the left who is in awful form and is a RB who somehow plays a ML for Juve.
It might have been different if Nedved was there to combine with Giorgio.

Nevertheless, it is unacceptable to play Chiellini on the left. If we want to get rid of Molinaro then we should simply buy a LB, not replace him with an average LB and hurt our central defense.
last season i insisted Chiellini should be in the left, now insist hes best is in the centre
truth is Sali sucks currently...chiellini is a fighter he tried his best in the left but HES MADE FOR PLAYING IN THE CENTRE.its not that i dont trust the other CBs,if andrade was ok then...dunno,but right now its better for Giorgio in the centre,we shuld buy a new LB or use De Ceglie, not reuse Giorgio in the left. The guy is 1,85-86,he cannot employed there:beer:

if Grygera would deliver the same from the other side, then we cant ask for more from our wing backs!
i think Grygera has not enough confidence right now ... he is defensivly sound and could make up for his missing ability to cross with his strong longrange shoot ... i remember him shooting from long range pretty dangerous last season... wanna see more of that

i remember a long pass from poulson from half right to the left to salihamdzic or del piero i think .... couldn't help but think "if this was alonso, everybody on the board would've road "only alonso can make those passes"

I think our central/defensive midfield is not as weak in passing as you all think

Mediocre game but i'm satisfied with the result, i don't think either team deserved to win. I thought our defence was superb however they would have had a lot more to deal with if rooney and ronaldo were fit. Sissoko and Poulsen are definitely rocks in the center and did well against the likes of scholes and fletcher. However in the second half their was no connection whatsoever between the midfield and the strikers which i wasn't happy about. And SALIHAMIDZIC is BY FAR the WORST player on our team. The guy SUCKS!!! Chimenti is better than him!! Throughout this entire preseason he has done nothing. Very disturbed by his play and want him benched. Very impressed by vidic and ferdinand, those guys i think are the best CB pairing in club football. All in all i'm happy we ended the tour in england getting a good result against the CL champs.

I've got over 3.45GB of pictures to go through, the seats were pretty far away from the pitch, row 31 infact, even the zoom on my Digital SLR camera struggled to get high quality pictures of the players.

Del Piero and Sissoko played wonderfully, eventhough Sissoko got booed by the Man U scums everytime he touched the ball.

Del Piero got a standing ovation when he was substituted and was walking towards the tunnel , I've never really seen anything like it from any supporters of the other team.

Once I find some decent pictures I will post them on here.

He really needs more confidence and he will get it he is that solid and consistent and CR trusts him for this role, its up to him actually...

Yes i remember that and i was quite impressed by Poulsen's crosses, although i still believe that he is not the answer to our creativity problems,
i cant hide the fact that i was impressed by those crosses, Sissoko's swift passes and dynamic drive ins were not half bad either,
with a help of a serious LM like Neddy or Giovinco this midfield can produce more creative chances, than ever before, at least against weaker teams.
We did it against Arsenal and in the 70 minutes Molinaro played against Dortmund.
I know that you're trying to find a way to get rid of Molinaro, but this shouldn't be it. We need Chiellini in the center much more than you think.
and we also need a football player in our left wing too, 3 defenders and a runner is always worse than any combination of 4 defenders.
Chiellini is the best defender we have, but the hole that Molinaro leaves in our defense is wider than the difference between Chiellini and Mellberg or the good Legro. Chiellini will be our main CB, but on some certain games i would prefer him in our left flank, if this is our only chance to get Molinaro out and field 4 defenders!

Del Piero going towards the tunnel, getting applause, please remember you cannot even see the rest of the stadium, everyone was on their feet:

I have too many pictures to upload every single one.

Fine, then ask for De Ceglie to play LB or to buy a new LB.
Don't be so desperate to ask for Chiellini to play there and make our defense at least 50% weaker by moving him out from the center :)

we can use this in away matches in CL
like:
...................Buffon
Grygera.Legro..Mellberg..Chiellini
Camo.Poulsen..Momo..Neddy
.............IQ......DP

what do you mean c'mon! name one good thing he has done in any of our preseason games?
Name one bad thing he has done and I don't mean like he mistouched a ball or sent a pass too wide. Name one thing Sali has done that has cost Juve. Now how many bad things did Molinaro do last season compared to Sali? I think it's safe to say you are talking out of your ear when you make comments such as "Sali is by far the most terrible player on our team".
