I think you better go and check the allegri thread. Many times I supported him, it was only last season I felt we needed a change of approach that's not to say I hated the guy in the same way you dislike sarri. Sarri was never my first choice but what's done is done we have to embrace it and hope for the best. But change wont happen over night and these recent friendlies if anything were more of a PR stunt than any real indication of how we will play this season. Just glad the team will return back to Italy and start to implement sarri's ideas with a bit more clarity and continuity without the constant travelling from country to country every other day
You realise we are NOT IN THE POSITION TO WAIT FOR HIS FOOTBALL TO COME GOOD. If the players we have don’t take to this style (and tbh it looks like they won’t) and things don’t click by January, we could literally be out of Europe and Serie A by then.
This isn’t the Juve of 7th place finishes that nobody had any expectations of and could play with a lot less pressure. Totally changing our playing style and philosophy is a crazy thing to do, when we have an extremely limited window to win in Europe with the likes of Ronaldo (who we are spending an absolute fortune on).
And the the thing is, the guy who is in charge of has literally zero experience in managing a team with our expectations and history. And let’s be honest, his “style” is overrated, one dimensional and predictable as fuck. And also, this game plan leaves our defence exposed af, and against the truly top teams they will pick us apart at will. And you’ll soon see there is no plan B when things don’t go to plan.
