    how are the juventinos playing?
    not very well

buffon, canna havent had much to do.
camo should play more on the right wing, not moving to midfield, his not doing well in there. dp is playing more deep to give balls to toni but havent seen him much.

Buffon wasn't really tested..he touched the ball a few times. Canavaro was solid as a rock and did well along side Nesta but also not that much pressure from the Ukranians to really test their preparations. Camoranesi did very well on the right with Oddo supplying him with atleast 5 great passes that lead tto crosses into the box. Del Piero is in good shape he's very active and was running all over the place and created some dangerous plays, he did a few mistakes that were uncalled for towards the end of the half, but all in all the Juve boys did well :)

there's a certain spark lacking midfield. Some of our passes have been good, others not so much.

Why it seems to be that Italians are just too afraid of injuries?
Because it's the last friendly match before the World Cup, not worth getting injured for

    Ok my first half analysis:
Italia are playing much better than the Swiss game. The formation feels right. Del Piero is moving everywhere but the movements between Gilardino and Toni are not well managed. They have to open up spaces for each other so Del Piero can assist them..
    Buffon: not tested.
Cannavaro: Awake but not very much tested
    Nesta: not concetrating well
Oddo: Good game... He started going upfront in the last 20 mins and was dangerous
Grosso: Good game as usual.. Made runs on his flank that were very dangerous (first 20 min)
    Pirlo: is ok, nothing spectacular
    De Rossi: Playing well
Camoranesi: moving alot but he is not making use of the side that much.. going too much inside
Del Piero: is moving alot... Missed a ball in a counter attack (the only negative thing) assisted both GIlardino and Toni few times. The most excited player on the field.
Gilardino and Toni: nothing much. They need to work out between them how will they change positions. If Lippi is seriously considering this formation for the WC those two much play in the 2nd half, any other players can rest but those have to play to get used to each other and every single minutes that passes with both of them on the field is good for Italy. Because if Lippi really is going to play with this stratigy the movements between those two are the key for scoring.

All in all.. Very good formation I liked it much better than the swiss one.
