Next game is Spieza or some morally boosting crap team? We might as well play Barca and loose 10-0.

Oh and Mr Allegri could we please use pre-season to work on possession football? this game was 20-80 or something? Always help if you have the ball..

I have a lot of doubts about how Morata and Dybala will position behind Mandzukic.. this game didn't barely count at that..

What I don't wanna see is Morata used most as a left forward, it would be a huge waste.

Dybala showed small glimpses os vision / passing. He doesn't seem to have great physical tools though. Even his acceleration looks average, and when someone charges him it seems like he's going to break into pieces..

Tello was a nice surprise, was well composed. Mandzukic looked mobile enough, missed a sitter.

Pretty much it

:agree:

Would be terrible to play Morata on the left.

Glad we lost, so the team will be much evaluated, especially losing key player issue which affecting the determination a lot... *just dont care 5 day trainning, coz the 'hole' in every sector seem far from fatique*

I'm relaxed, why shouldn't I be? Maybe because I've waited for this game all day long? :)

Anyway just talking about he little that we could see given the bad conditions.
wrong post to quote.did read your entire post now.decent assessments but lets not make too many early judgements now

From what I think, the team should start with Morata as a CF and that's it. It worked amazingly last season and it shouldn't change.

The question is not if Morata can play with Mandzukic, but if Mandzu can play with Morata.

Morata CF and Dybala SS would apparently be the most natural and comfortable position for these 2... don't know where Mandzukic would fit

Dybala and morata took turns pushing wide. Morata wasnt only on the left and dybala wasnt only on the right
Morata looked good on the left wing ,he's very comfy playing there infact.Nothing wrong in him playing there imo.

Morata on the wing doesnt mean he'll be hugging the touchline.See Cristiano's movements for Madrid for example.i see something similar in here.

Yes, Dybala seemed to be out of place in there, sometimes he went back as an AM to get the ball too.

They'll have to work hard to understand each other... but considering what we have today, the most natural to me would be Pereyra AM - Dybala free roaming SS like Tevez - Morata doing what he did with Tevez
