It's just stupid planning, not a matter of relevance anyhow obviously. It's a matter of the best possible preparing for the season and showing decently wherever we play, whenever we play.
I don't see it as stupid planning, but that is where we agree to disagree.

I personally love the fact that they are playing a quality side for their first match. And Dortmund are obviously way ahead of us in regards to conditioning. This time tomorrow all of the players will have forgotten about this. Hell, some players have already forgotten about it. And half of those guys are still playing

Let me say this in a way you can understand:

Nobody gives a $#@! about friendlies. There, now stop being so over dramatically emo and move on.
I give a fuck, I don't care about what others think. Team must present itself decently whenever they play in the world, at any give time. But conditions weren't offered for it.

They will have sore muscles though and then remember the match

Man, it's not even nice to the players to get roflstomped like that because of a difference at physical condition. It's never good. Just a situation that could have been avoided because while you may argue it doesn't hurt, it definitely doesn't bring any good.

Is it important? Of course not. But for me Juventus should have decent conditions of being competitive whenever they play, ever, at any place.
