I think that Nainggolan is slighty better too, but these stats are interesting (whoscored.com):
Nainggolan: PA: 84%, Apps: 18, Goals: 2, Assists: 1, Rating: 7.33
Guarin: PS: 72%, Apps: 18, Goals: 3, Assists: 4, Rating: 7.45
His pass accuracy is really worrying: 72% so far (77% in 2012/2013). Rating looks promising though.

Guarin has more attacking ambition and talent than Radja. He is a B2B with the same mindset as Vidal and Pogba, to try dangerous passes and shots.
Radja is more of a defensive midfielder. I think he's still a B2B type but on the defensive side.
You can look up a lot of Guarin games on Youtube where they just show his touches and decide for yourselves if he's shit or playing on a shit team.
For example this game vs. Napoli. Some passes don't find his shitty teammates but they are great ideas and still good execution.
It's clear he doesn't give a fuck about Inter and the coach is clueless, the team lacks discipline. Most of Guarin's criticism comes from bad shots and/or selfish decisions sometimes. On Juve, I'm confident that will disappear since he will probably give a fuck about playing here and Conte's disciplined system. When Conte tells you not to shoot, you won't shoot, or else you'll end up on the bench for good.

not wrong there...what does it mean for our team...my thoughts are as follows:
1. Marotta cant find any wingers to buy. Lamela was a struggle and Spurs were always going to make it hard for us. Di Maria was never going to happen. Menez wont be bought when he can come for free in the summer if he is willing.
2. Alternative to a winger is an attacking midfielder.
3. A midfielder who can play anywhere in midfield including attacking midfielder is handy to have in the squad, hence Guarin fits the bill.
4. versatility, reasonably cheap for the market, Serie A experience....seriously, how can Marotta resist when it ticks all the boxes he normally wants.
We currently have 4 players rotating in 3 positions...maybe that remains with Guarin playing as an AM behind Llorente and Tevez.
