Alright, getting ready for season no. 2.
Aiming for promotion. If I don't win the league, then fuck me, this bug will happen again, and I just can't cope with that shit anymore. Warrenpoint and Portadown are clear favs tho.

I'm 40k in red, but I got a sponsorship deal! Hell yes. 7k a year

Life is good in season 3. I thought I would struggle here, maybe even go back to Championship, but the boys are playing decent football. Difference between Premiership and Championship is not that big since we're all Semi-pro clubs, but they all have more money than me and can get better players, etc. I need a striker. Found one in Portadown, they want 18-26k. I'm 18-26k short there. Even WB is way over my head, can't keep some old dudes that I still have on non-contract. One of them even scored 5-6 goals so far, no one stole him. Yet.

Time for an update. Decent debut in the Premiership. 5th place.
Great start of the season, awful finish. Basically, shit happened. GK started leaking goals from 20 meters, scored some OG himself, few injuries here and there, entire defence got downgraded from shit to mega shit and we got raped several times. The fact there are 3-4 cheating teams here is pissing me off. Glentoran exploits match engine like no other with 3 strikers upfront. Linfied moves to 3-4-3 flat whenever they need a goal, etc. Cheating, exploiting fucks. Board loves me, I'm untouchable, so they decided to reward me with 100 euros extra in wage budget and zero transfer budgets. Thanks, fuckfaces. Better get some sponsorship deal. Secured massive signing for next season. Got that striker from Portadown on a free. They (CH club, mind you) offered him 375e a week, I can offer 200, so I gave him pretty much everything I have. He destroyed me whenever we played them and he's better than ones I have here.

Red card, penalty kick, 2 woodworks, missed tons of chances and conceded a goal from direct FK for the first time after 3.5 years, in 90+3.
Struggling to stay in this divsion. I trusted some teens in defence. Fuck me, what a mistake. And goalie is the same, retarded one, got lobbed 30 times so far.

So, this happened.
It's so frustrating. They literally had 2 chances. Clinical. One of them came after CK, of course. Defending set pieces is incredibly tough for this set of fucktards. Every corner kick is a pinball that usually ends bad for me.
Shortly after that, I had to face Glentoran, reigning Champs. Yeah, those guy who play with 3 strikers. They scored 3 in 1st hall, toying with my defenders. In the HT, I went all-in. Managed to score 3 goals, was over the moon and then, well, PK happened.
This is what we do. This is our thing. Our brand of football.

Linfield sacked their manager and Glentoran head coach just signed for Derry City. I'm linked with both clubs. Had a convo with Linfield chairman, might move soon. Sick and tired of this team, bad luck, crap moral, just everything.
I rarely change clubs in FM, I just don't like it, but this would be really great opportunity for me.

Are two striker formations stupidly OP in this game?
I have been crushing every thing in my path with ease, play Atletico Madrid, lose 2-4
I had 65% of possession, 20+ chances, Atletico scored each time they come forward. I reviewed the goals to find how the fuck this happened. Every goal is ridiculous link up play between Griezmann and Diego Costa. My attackers lose possesion and long ball forward to one of their strikers, plays a one two, and somehow the other threads through an insane, seasonal highlight reel tier through pass to set the other up one on one vs goalkeeper. Not like they have time on the ball either, one touch stuff.
My defenders baffled. My CB set on sweeper duty just utterly bamboozled.
I rage quit and tried again. lost again. same shit.
I would understand it if my 4-3-3 actually was leaving massive gap between defense and midfield and they had time on the ball but they don't. Like I said just one touch their way through with ease.

Alright, time for season 4 recap. I took over in december when club was well behind Glentoran and Coleraine. I was told to qualify for EL. I was so surprised when I saw they have only 2 coaches, just one scout, physio, etc. Backroom staff was short as hell. We did some upgrades there.
Squad was decent, defo better than Newry, but it had way too many wingers and old players, so I signed few youngsters, 2 mids and CD. To be honest, just one of them is ready for 1st team action, but I played them all, even 16y kid who became youngest goalscorer in club's history. Our best player is Dean Kelly, talented midfielder, but I'm sad to say he's leaving the club in the summmer... Reading approached him when I arrived, I tried to convince him to stay, but no success... English Championship is 50x stronger than NPL, so it was a no-brainer for him, really.
I need some ball winning mids, creative AM, pacey strikers, younger defenders... everything. Hope I can fix most of that in upcoming mercato. We need to challenge Glentoran, they're having too much fun here, 87pts and +50GD.... Sick. We kept 3rd place in the League, got some money for it (52k).

Players returned 2 weeks earlier, playing some friendlies to raise their fitness, new signins will arrive just a week before that game, and I should be able to register them. But they won't be in a good shape...
