I used to subscribe to World Soccer. As a monthly, you're always behind the times. But what's good about it is its world league coverage. Yet the articles are always short and relatively fluffy -- leaving you wanting a little more detail and depth.
Calcio Italia is a good mag. They sell it on newsstands in a couple places in downtown SF. Much more in depth. Some silly reporting here and there to fill up the pages. Weaker on the stats and tables, but strong on depth of Serie A coverage.
Also, this is far better than the offshoot Soccer Italia magazine that comes out of Canada. It pretty much is little more than every other issue of Calcio Italia.
The only one I subscribe to these days is Calcio 2000. Which is all in Italian, which might kill it for you right there. But they have good depth of monthy coverage, good stats and statistics from around the world leagues and particularly in the major European leagues. Where they are weakest is in CL coverage, IMO. Still, it's the best of many worlds for me and my running favorite.
Also in Italian, as Kaiser mentioned, is the classic weekly Guerin Sportivo. It's excellent for game reviews and very timely if you can get the publish->delivery times down. As a weekly, it's also quite expensive. Great focus on the Italian leagues and would be my top choice if I wanted to spend that much and could get issues much sooner. Of course, coverage outside of Italy is lacking at best.

I also subscribe to the monthly World Soccer magazine, as they cover all angles in world football and never let anything go without a mention...no matter what country the story originates from. Writers such as Paddy Agnew (also a Serie A commentator) and Sid Lowe, as well as Editor Gavin Hamilton, are some of the best football writers this world has to offer. I also love the arrangement of their magazine and sections such as "Talent Scout" and "Quotes of the Month." Fantastic stuff.
Another magazine I occasionally take a look at is Four Four Two, however they gear their articles to the typical English football fan and their bias shines through like the sun on a cloudless day. They still provide a lot of in-depth reports and well-writen editorials, as well as a comedic aspect not found in World Soccer.
And by the way, the headline story in this month's issue of Four Four Two is "Juventus: Is this FINALLY their Year?" The story is about 16 pages long filled with interviews and information about Juventus, including interviews with Moggi and Capello, as well as opinions from Marco Tardelli and Paolo Rossi...very good read I must say.

I've always liked World Soccer's Talent Scout, and the quotes are even better than the ones in the back of each Calcio 2000.
But I've also noticed how they've backed off on their season preview, for example. Instead of itemizing all the squads in all the big leagues, as they have in past years, they punted by listing a few key transfers, etc. -- leaving detailed coverage of squads for only the CL teams. And now that they got behind the old and exhumed European Book of Football annual by Mike Hammond, it also looks like they're dropping the ball on their annual World Soccer Yearbook special issue -- which used to list NT players and appearances for all the squads from around the world. :groan:
Changes are definitely afoot there... and few for the better, I'm afraid.

Arabic Soccer Mags just dont cut for me, , articles dont seem coherent (if you call them articles, most probably they are just news), has too much arabic football in it which I am not really a fan of! Team names and player names are always Fvcked up, I swear sometimes I guess what they mean...in short they lack proffesionalism, hard hitting journalism, and just depressing!!:fero:

EDIT: BTW...order it from the website, not the magazine itself---it's about $75 cheaper per year (I'm talking US, obviously)....they do throw in a 1960's Azzurri jersey for free for the extra money, though.
