that would imply we would not pay him as much as milan and so he would probably go to milan anyways. has an sure starting spot in the first eleven there...
Milan are currently in financial trouble. So I don't think they'll offer him that much, they probably won't even afford his price tag.

Our board should do their best to sign this player, Camoranesi won't last forever.

judging by the form of our players he has one here too
yeah, but since when did ferrara actually let the form of a player decide his starting formations ?

i see a 50-50 chance at most ... our board is pretty jewish (no frontin) in that regard ... we wont give a huge salary to someone who has no good name in the international scene...

Sneijder: "I was wrong on Serie A" Thursday 17 December, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wesley Sneijder tells Dutch newspapers he has “never been so happy” as at Inter and “completely changed” his concept of Serie A.

“Just think that not long ago I did not find Italy interesting. I thought the standard of the league was inferior and that they played in half-empty stadiums,” he told Elf Voetball.

“I have completely changed my mind. I can now say with great satisfaction that I am very happy here and I’ve never been so happy.”

Sneijder had originally resisted a transfer to Inter and was determined to stick it out at Real Madrid, but is now very glad he made the switch.

That does not change his obvious bitterness towards Merengues chiefs Florentino Perez and Jorge Valdano.

“I would never return to Real Madrid. What happened there was akin to a 'mafia hit.’ I could easily do what Xabi Alonso is doing now and many people believe that.

“It doesn’t mean I hate Real. After all, I keep in touch with many of my former teammates, but at the same time I am happy that I’ve been able to prove myself elsewhere.”

Bologna-Atalanta snowed off
Saturday 19 December, 2009

Bologna-Atalanta has been postponed until Sunday due to snow, while two Serie B games and possibly Fiorentina-Milan are also off.

There were doubts over the ability to play this weekend after heavy snowfall hit the peninsula and several matches have already been cancelled.

Bologna-Atalanta was meant to kick off at 17.00 GMT this afternoon, but it has already been announced that it cannot go ahead in current conditions.

A new kick-off time has been set for 12.00 GMT on Sunday.

Right now it looks increasingly unlikely that Fiorentina’s tie with Milan will go ahead as planned.

“At the moment we do not have the conditions necessary to allow the public to enter the stadium,” said the Florence council inspector.

As the kick-off is planned for 19.45 GMT – nearly 21.00 local time – there are concerns over the public safety both inside and outside the arena due to icy conditions.

There is the possibility that the game could go ahead without any fans present.

In Serie B Mantova-Crotone has been snowed off and the game is rescheduled for January 30, while Cittadella-Ancona is also not going to be played today.

Sassuolo-Salernitana has been put back until 15.00 GMT this afternoon in order to give the stadium workers time to clear the pitch.
