Milan step up bid for Krasic Wednesday 16 December, 2009

Milan are doing everything to secure a deal for CSKA Moscow midfielder Milos Krasic next summer, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 25-year-old Serbia international has really shown his class in this year's Champions League and is expected to shine at the World Cup.

Milan were originally looking to take Krasic in January, but CSKA's qualification for the second round of the Champions League has made them reluctant to part with him until the end of the season.

The 2005 UEFA Cup winners have set Krasic's fee at a non-negotiable €15m.

In the meantime, Milan will turn their attention to a short-term solution, the most likely being Udinese's Antonio Di Natale who is disgruntled in Friuli.

The 32-year-old Italy international has fallen out with Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo who is sick of seeing him pick up silly suspensions.

Milan would like to loan the Serie A top scorer until the end of the season and are prepared to send one of the stars from their academy the other way as a sweetener.

CSKA Moscow star Milos Krasic is reportedly set to snub a January move to the Barclays Premier League after AC Milan, the team he idolises, indicated they would move for him in the summer.

Manchester United, City, Arsenal and Chelsea have all tracked the £9million-rated Serbia international, but he is reluctant to move before next summer's World Cup and is more keen to go to Italy.
