football manager is a great game but does anyone else think that nothing really havent changed that much within the game over the years, i feel a bit ripped off when i buy the new one each year and its always similar. i few more very good features but thats all. The graphics and the structure is the same.

this fifa game looks different and the screenshots looks impressive, i think i might into it.

i know what you mean and since i first played champ manager a few years ago i havnet played another game since lol. but i think i need a change, but i agree that its the best fm manager game about.

when the retail price is around £30 i do feel a bit cheated.

bought it last week :toast:. Didn't play it yet though, but allow me to represent the EA sports Manager Games. Total Club Manager (Fifa Manager) has been the best for years.

with the implementation of the ability to manually control one of your players on the pitch, they made completelly an arcade game.

i havent played fifa manager but i doubt it can reach the standards of football manager, as a managerial game i mean... FM is totally adicitive, whole nights on it and its always the last game ure playing which never arrives because you play another one... however il try fifa manager very soon because i have been playing fm for so many years

The case is as already mentioned, that Fifa Manager is not really realistic, you don't have many possibilities. But after spending lots of years playing Anstoss (2,3), which are ugly, but realistic manager games by a German producer, the decent look of Fifa Manager is a great alternative. If the players look the right way with photos'n'stuff and you can watch the game, it makes me get closer to the team, it feels more like reality to me, since FootballManager (I tested it) sometimes optically reminded me of Microsoft Excel.

Fifa Manager '06 is almost awfully easy to play with Werder Bremen. That kinda sucked. Another thing was that after I reached a high level of fitness with my team, it never went down again, and I did not train that much of it anymore. I was slighty irritated by that.

But after I'm done with PES6 for 1st, I'll probably return to Fifa Manager again.

In fifa manager do you have to watch all of the game or is it like Football manager the game is shown in highlights? So you end up seeing like 5-20 min of the 90 min game (depending on whats happenning on the pitch).

Is fifa manager = total club manager?
