I can't answer it because I haven't seen enough of him, like I said...
You've been saying that you don't think we will end our forward mercato with Pazzini only and only then you would be satisfied. Now you are saying that you cannot answer because the target may be someone you don't know. So Quagliarella - Pazzini swap and Negredo is not something you can judge? Personally I can judge as pure crap that stinks panic and fail.

No he won't. He won us the scudetto last season and gave Conte a team that went undefeated. And this season he has already strengthened all the other areas of the team. Even if Negredo comes his mercato will be a resounding success because he bought us high quality players within 50m. Marrotta is the best at what he does.

No, I can't judge that. I don't know how else I can explain it.

From what I have seen of Llorente, his style and reputation I would be happy with him and Pazzini, but I just don't know how good Negredo is.

What if we buy Mohammed Ghaddar? You would also be unable to judge it because you have never seen him play?

That's not entirely fair though. He has brought some players that have pleasantly surprised us that many people haven't really ever watched before. Just so happens that none of them were "meant" to be the "big signing"...that's the problem I think.

From Cavani.. to Higuain... then RVP... to Suarez.. then Dzeko as RvP back-up.. then to Jovetic.. back to Suarez.. then back Dzeko.. to Llorente.. to Negredo (I don't think Juve is interested in Negredo - only AS has reported this, and AS is known to report nonsense time to time).

Arsenal are very into Llorente. They've been linked all summer, and their previous foward buys don't affect anything. Wenger is aiming for a 3-prong attack and needs a top-class CF, and he's been known to favor Llorente for that position. If Marotta wanted Llorente, he should have struck a deal before the RvP sale. But he waits... waits for the price to go down... never happens.

Llorente would favor a move to Arsenal over Juve. Mult. reasons: Offer competitive salary and UCL football; relatively new, top-class stadium; most watched football league world-wide; link-up with fellow Spain internationals; and, no coach/scandal issues. This decision will be massive for him as he eyes WC2014, particularly after not being used at Euros. He wants to prove his worth.

I am not talking in general about Marotta as I am well aware that he has done well several times. He has so far done a very good transfer market this season too but he is failing miserably in delivering our most needed department. The fair thing is that Marotta does not buy such players and the best we can hope for is that we get surprised by them doing extremely well.

Yes, I agree. In the begining most were (me included) were saying the market hasn't even opened. Then progressed to we still have a month an a half, etc etc. Now...2 weeks to go, the signs of a panic signing are in full color.

Pazzini/Negredo will absolutely be a panic buy. It would be best to just save money until the next transfer window or try and get Jovetic and keep Matri.

It doesn't matter which random player you pick, if Conte and Marotta decide between them that they are going to sign a player then I trust in their choices.

Personally speaking I can only say I am satisfied with the signings of players I know about.

Exactly, the best thing is not to buy anyone out of those 3rd or 4th backup plans but no, Juvejay does not think these are panic buys or that they are crap because he cannot judge how they would do. Some even believe that Conte will transfer Pazzini into a monster :howler:

Elia was a player that Conte and Marotta decided on. I believe you trusted them on that.

With the team we have now, I think Matri will score just as many goals as Pazzini would. No need to bring Pazzo & his wages here.
