No it's not. Jovetic is still all talent, need to be more proven to warrant such inflated price tag. And since no club is after him and the team is fairly covered in his position, I think it's better to look for a goalscorer to replace Matri with. Between Llorente for 16-20m (if true) and Jovetic for 30-35m to add to the team "this year", I'd go for Llorente.
This is how the market is Hoori. Llorente is just as much of a risk as JoJo. Jovetic won't cost more than 25 Million if we push hard enough; at least, that is what I believe. There will be a lot of clubs after him in the coming Mercato, and we will be priced out of a move then. I do agree that we need a goalscorer more. I'm just not convinced Llorente is the one.

Get off my case :D You know I can't, and it's mere speculation, based on the prices being tossed around in the press ;)

It's not much of a risk if Juve are to pay (lets say) 16m. And there's no better option for that price available in the market.

Llorente this year and Jojo next, ok? :D

And how can people prove that Llorente would choke in Serie A?
Talking about price tags needs to be factual but only time can tell whether or not Llorente or any other player for that matter would choke in Serie A.

You're right, that was mean. I seem to remember the Athletic director saying that a club would have to pay his release clause, so that's all we have to go by right now. And Jojo needs a serious offer of above €30m IIRC.

Nobody can prove he'd be a success either, but I don't really like judging players based on nationality.

Rivaldo joined Milan at 2002 around the age 30, after a mind blowing WC performance, didn't follow La Liga that season and the numbers show a decline in his last season, so you might be right, but I always thought his serious club career ended a bit early because he couldn't adapt to Italian football not because he couldn't do it physically.
If Oliveira failed at Valencia, what do you call his performance at Milan? In his first season in Spain as a young player he definetly did decent and the next season at Betis he kicked ass with 22 goals, making him a pretty high profile striker in La Liga, one season later Milan signed him for around 20 million euros. I'd say he's a pretty good example for my case :) Gotta admit I added Forlan for the numbers as nothing better came to mind at moment :D

There was a reason Rivaldo left on free, and was sad to see but he was done as a player consistent wise. Having a great WC means little since its 7 games at most. Zidane was doing little for Real the same year he had a great WC.

Oliveira is simply a typical case of a player too limited to be hack at a big pond, players like him are a dime a dozen.

Me neither, I think it's retarded.

If Llorente is available for 16mln indeed then it'd be a very good deal. However, if they really want 30mln+ then it's a joke and Jovetic is the way to go.

It's not hard to see that the post of salvo is a made up one.
Mate just look at some of the posts above mine..Just look at how some people panic just for some random comment such as that one.

brazilian stars like ronaldo, adriano, ronaldinho did turn their end of career into a mess because of drinking and extra sportive activities...juninho, r. carlos, rivaldo, alex de souza though are examples of stars that haven't followed that lifestyle. you can't judge a player after his skin/nationality...
