selling chiesa makes sense if you take a look at his last few years objectively. disappointing end product, plus the high salary request are both red flags

but pre-injury chiesa was a beast, look at his first season at juve or especially at his euros. one good pre-season with proper physical preparation and his next club will have an absolute weapon

I think it's already happening bro. Apparently we have a deal in hand with Koopmeiners worth 4.5, D. Luiz will be getting 4.5 so here you have two star signings for around 50mln each that will be getting this kind of salary. No room for Chiesa to be renewed at 7mln.

Chiesa had an absolutely amazing second half of the season under Pirlo in 2020/21. His numbers from January to June 2021 weren't that magnificent (9G/6A), but he was simply unplayable. He continued his great form at the EURO in 2021.
Ever since we are waiting for him to be that unplayable Chiesa from 2021, but it never happened. Injury or not, half a season in 4 years is way too little for a superstar status.
I won't mind at all if he leaves, because he's far from irreplaceable.
